If Justin Bieber music was played loud in the cell of a prisoner with the hope of getting him to talk, would some consider it a form of torture?

Seriously. Classic rock stations play music from the 60's, 70's, 80's and some hits from the 90's. Do you really think they will be playing Justin Bieber on classic rock stations in ten to twenty years?

Not that well said RM.

From Wiki:
"When the United States invaded Panama in December 1989, Noriega took refuge in the Holy See’s embassy on December 24, which was immediately surrounded by U.S. troops. After being continually bombarded by hard rock music, including Van Halen's hit song Panama, and “The Howard Stern Show” for several days, Noriega surrendered on January 3, 1990."

Lesson learned, you want to torture someone? Don't use teenybopper crap, go hard rock.

Will Bieber stand the test of time? Did The Archies? Who the hell even cares.

DD the word was "singing" in the first sentence. Thanks for playing though.

In a dumbed down world, this kid is what passes for talent. Go figure.

Kids!
I don't know what's wrong with these kids today!
Kids!
Who can understand anything they say?
Kids!
They a disobedient, disrespectful oafs!
Noisy, crazy, dirty, lazy, loafers!
While we're on the subject:
Kids!
You can talk and talk till your face is blue!
Kids!
But they still just do what they want to do!
Why can't they be like we were,
Perfect in every way?
What's the matter with kids today?
Kids!
I've tried to raise him the best I could
Kids! Kids!
Laughing, singing, dancing, grinning, morons!
And while we're on the subject!
Kids! They are just impossible to control!
Kids! With their awful clothes and their rock an' roll!
Why can't they dance like we did
What's wrong with Sammy Caine?
What's the matter with kids today!

The reference to "Sammy Caine" is in error. Actually almost every reference on the internet to the song "Kids" perpetuates the error.

The actual reference is to big band leader "Sammy Kaye" and his notorious bland but popular music.
DonDiego remembers hearing seeing him on the TV in the 50's and 60s, . . . or maybe he just thinks he remembers.

Yes that is very evident when you read what Number 51 says.

Oh sheesh. Please tell me you aren't this slow?
Well, the "Bieb's" won't make one dime on this "pecker"! If he appears on any show I may be watching I just change the channel.

Just a spoiled punk that kids are worshiping for the "moment".

Just ignore him and he will eventually go away.
I'm sure when Ed Sullivan had the Rolling Stones on his show there were haters who thought they would never make it.
Let's see, 50 years later and they are getting another tour together.

JB is a pop teen heart throb and old giesers are not going to like him. Guess what? He most likely will not care.

I sure hope you are not trying to compare JB with the Rolling Stones. This old geezer does not believe that JB will be around five years, let alone fifty. The kid reminds me of Vanilla Ice. How long was he around?
It is not that I do not like JB, it is just that this old geezer grew up in an age where entertainers had REAL talent. Just because JB is a pop teen heart throb, that does not mean he has any talent. Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.
