Via the broken healthcare.gov. However, thousands more signed up on day 1 by other methods, such as the many states that built their own web portals.

In Kentucky alone they're doing over a thousand a day.

In Washington State it's almost 2,000 a day.

Oregon's going over 3,000 a day for the first three weeks.

Please get a fact right someday.

Then all the sex workers heard enrollment had started and enrollment numbers spiked.

Something that is kinda funny..

I saw a bit about the girl who was on the healthcare.gov site and she wanted off so HHS has been asking for someone to step and actually found TWO GIRLS who would actually step up and give testimonials even. I think they should hold out for a few more volunteers than two tho, what do ya'll think?

Actually people should have a choice on what they want to buy rather than buying what the govt says we need

That is only possible in a free country ---- but don't worry, our government knows what's best for us. Just carry on with your business and ignore all lies.
Actually, ObamaCare was put into place by We The People, you know, through our representative democracy: a majority in the House, a huge majority in the Senate, and the signature of the President of the United States.

It's The Law. If you don't like it, go elect somebody. But 2012 was largely a referendum on ObamaCare, you lost, we won, so stop blaming Big Government. Instead, blame Big Democracy.

Oh I don't doubt some of those states are doing well, but how much did we spend on Healthcare.gov to service six customers?

The vote on the Affordable Care Act has been called the most polarized vote on a major United States Law for over a century. [The chart below indicates the next most polarizing was creation of the Internal Revenue Service and the Income Tax in 1913.]

In the Senate the bill passed by a vote of 60–39 on December 24, 2009, with all Democrats and two independents voting for, and all Republicans voting against.
The polarization was recognized by even the liberal voters of Massachusetts. Several weeks after the ACA vote, on January 19, 2010, Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown was elected to the Senate in a special election to replace the late Ted Kennedy, having campaigned on giving the Republican minority the 41st vote needed to sustain filibusters.

DonDiego's Pennsylvania Dutch Grandmother used to say: "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get", . . . sorta the PA Dutch version of "haste makes waste."
That the ACA was rushed into Law is demonstrated by the requirement for 20,000-and-counting pages of regulations necessary to implement the legislation. And of course all the "surprises" folks are just learning about now.
Just like the health.gov website. Haste makes waste.
Yes, the GOP members of Congress didn't vote for Obamacare.

So what?
Chilcoot- Apparently you have difficulties with the truth. According to definition, "landslide" only applies to "popular vote" not electoral vote. Look it up, then take a look into your mirror and see the pompous ass staring back.

Yeah, bipartisanship rocks! Dems and Repubs holding hands and voting for gems like:

  • The war in Iraq
  • The Defense of Marriage Act
  • Wall Street Deregulation
  • The Patriot Act

    On second thought...

Pure bullshit in more ways than one. 3% isn't even close, and the product they're being forced to buy isn't what they need. It is what the government and the product needs. This isn't about healthcare. It is about money.
