Pure bullshit in more ways than one. 3% isn't even close, and the product they're being forced to buy isn't what they need. It is what the government and the product needs. This isn't about healthcare. It is about money.
BobOrme, Chil makes a claim and provides an actual link, and you make a counter claim and don't provide a source of any kind. And you do this sort of thing over and over, and I think I've figured out why.

I bet you are just too embarrassed to identify your sources.

Coot provided an opinion driven pie chart that is not verifiable with real world results. That's not a "link" to reality. I provided Obama administration federal register information...even included the page number. DonDiego provided a link to the same pages that show how much the administration knew more than three years ago. My sources are the Obama administration. That isn't embarrassing to me. It should be humiliating to you.

You can continue to deny what they knew then and still know now. The lies coming from the White House won't stop because Obama's ego won't allow it.
Of the tew who have signed up, I wonder how many are in the young healthy bracket this thing so desperately needs to fly? Hmmm..my guess would be none to almost none. I wonder when they finally release any kind of numbers at all, if they'll actually break it down at all, or keep up the "no reliable data yet" routine? My bet on this one is also none. and would be surprised if they did and even more surprised if it's a significant amount.

Success ! ! !

"Siouxsie Q, a [San Francisco] Bay area sex worker - a broad term ["broad" term - get it ? [wink. wink, . . nod, nod]] that can refer to a number of services, including sexual massage, prostitution, and escort and dominatrix work - and her partner [are] deciding between two plans on the California exchange and will receive a tax credit of about $275 a month" from the good old US taxpayer.

Ref: CNN: Sex Workers Embrace Obamacare

DonDiego is happy for them; he assumes they are declaring all their income before applying for the Federal Subsidy.

Bill Maher on CNN explains Obamacare:

"20 years ago, . . . one of the first issues we ever did on Politically Incorrect was "Are People Getting Stupider?" They were then and they still are.

It sure is hard if you’re a politician—not that I’m really that sympathetic to them—to try to get information into people’s heads.

I don’t think Obama should’ve lied to people, . . . yeah, he probably should’ve not been so blatant about saying you . . . iron clad guarantee. On the other hand, since he got no Republican votes and no Republican help. And since three years after it’s a law, they’re still fighting it, can you imagine what it would be like if he said, 'Yeah, some people, your rates are going to go up.' I mean the thing passed by this much [teeny bit between thumb and forefinger]. If they had said that, they might’ve lost the whole thing."

Ahh, . . . at last stupid old DonDiego understands; President Obama had to lie because people are so stupid that if he had spoken the truth Obamacare would not have become Law."

". . . if [President Obama] had spoken the truth Obamacare would not have become Law."

DonDiego suggest the American Citizenry really must, . . . MUST, . . . listen to their betters on matters of governance, because of their ever-increasing stupidity.

Everyone needs a big brother.

"He gazed up at the enormous face. Forty years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother."

Give us more of that "Words Matter" lecture. I loved that one.
Some folks just don't understand that they're really getting a better policy, . . . really !
No, . . . . REALLY ! ! !

Item 1:

"The [Dean] Griffins, who live near Philadelphia, pay $770 monthly for their soon-to-be-terminated health care plan with a $2,500 deductible. The cheapest plan they found on their state insurance exchange was a so-called bronze plan charging a $1,275 monthly premium with deductibles totaling $12,700. It covers only providers in Pennsylvania, so the couple, who live near Delaware, won't be able to see doctors they've used for more than a decade.
'We're buying insurance that we will never use and can't possibly ever benefit from. We're basically passing on a benefit to other people who are not otherwise able to buy basic insurance,' said Griffin.
Because of the higher cost, the Griffins are considering paying the federal penalty - about $100 or 1 percent of income next year - rather than buying health insurance. They say they are healthy and don't typically run up large health care costs. Dean Griffin said that will be cheaper because it's unlikely they will get past the nearly $13,000 deductible for the coverage to kick in."

[Hmm, . . . maybe it's the higher price and higher deductible that's confusing them. Oh, and nobody expected anyone to cross State-lines to go to the doctor. Suck it up! DD]

Item 2:

"Ken Davis, who manages a fast food restaurant in Austin, Texas, is recovering from sticker shock after the small-business policy offered by his employer was canceled for the same reasons individual policies are being discontinued.
His company pays about $100 monthly for his basic health plan. He said he'll now have to pay $600 monthly for a mid-tier silver plan on the state exchange. The family policy also covers his 8-year-old son. Even though the federal government is contributing a $500 subsidy, he said the $600 he's left to pay is too high. He's considering the penalty."

[Hmm, . . . hey, at least the Government is providing a little subsidy; one should be happy for what one gets. Take it like a man! DD]

Item 3:

"Philip Johnson, 47, of Boise, Idaho, was shocked when his cancellation notice arrived last month. The gift-shop owner said he'd spent years arranging doctors covered by his insurer for him, his wife and their two college-age students.
After browsing the state exchange, he said he thinks he'll end up paying lower premiums but higher deductibles. He said the website didn't answer many of his questions, such as which doctors take which plans.
'I was furious because I spent a lot of time and picked a plan that all my doctors accepted' Johnson said. 'Now I don't know what doctors are going to take what. No one mentioned that for the last three years when they talked about how this was going to work.' "

[Hmm, . . . this man just has to quit his bitching! As long as he doesn't get sick the deductibles cost nothing. DD]

Ref: Associated Press

Oh, . . .the AP also notes that 900,000 Californians, 330,000 Floridians, 400,000 Georgians, 130,000 Kentuckians, and 140,000 Minnesotans will have their health care policies cancelled.

DonDiego encourages them to be thankful for whatever new policy the Government permits, . . . umm, no, . . . compels them to buy.

This last line nails it, "be thankful for...". Hey it is the start of thanksgiving month and one is supposed to be thankful for something everyday.

Actually, everyone paying attention knew that junk insurance was going to become illegal three years ago. Including Dick Cheney's ol' fishing buddy:

And the source for your "3% claim?" I must have missed it.
