I agree his numbers will probably be Geroge Bush like until he leaves office, but long term I don't think people will hold it against Democrats. Like I said before I think the 2016 election will be about what to replace Obamacare with so to be competitive the Republicans are going to have to come up with some healthcare plan. I note the Clintons are already starting to distance themselves from Obama and Obamacare in particular.

Obama got re-elected and would still get re-elected tomorrow even after all his lying, deceptions, and trainwreck of his signature healthcare law, because and only because 51% of this country are useless/unemployed/system-suckers who see him as their saving messiah which demotivates them from wanting to work or better themselves in any way so they can be an asset to their country. Obama had Axelrod etc. go to all the big cities on election day to bus these losers to the polls, while Romney and his crew had shrimp cocktails and champagne waiting for the fateful results.

If the people knew that they would be unable to keep their insurance or their doctor or that the justice dept and IRS were infringing on people's free speech and that the NSA was spying on them obama would have lost

Lots of people knew the NSA was spying on them prior to the 2008 election. The truly sincere critics have complained about it since the point it was passed instead of waiting for a change in power in the White House.

Lots of people also knew and complained about the IRS being used as a political weapon against White House opponents when it actually was used that way under the Bush Administration against the NAACP. Critics of the Daryl-Issa-fabricated IRS Scandal were strangely silent or even cheered the actual scandal in the previous admin.

In Summary, there are people who base criticism on their values....and their are people who base criticism on their team-spirit. Which one are you, Hoops?

I don't think so, not until Snowden bolted town and started talking, until then soccer moms and grandmas were oblivious and then all of a sudden they were asking(rhetorically) "you mean the govt can read my mail and hear my phone calls?". It was never mainstream before and as far as the critics I don't think many knew the extent of what and how much the NSA was actually capable of, I sure didn't and you can absolutely count me in as one of the big anti-NSA folks and I could care less who's sitting pres.
