Your statement has to be one of the most ridiculously asinine statements I have ever read. "Obama's competence"? What a joke!

Obama's level of competence should scare everyone. It's especially evident with the botched rollout of this massive change to our healthcare system. Most any CEO in corporate America would be fired for such a dismal implementation of a signature project. I'm sorry you didn't understand that...it goes right along with his Policies and Agenda.

Alan - you are correct, I misunderstood. Obviously, you have not lost your mind.

Well I wouldn't go that far.
Alan, glad to see you're back on Doc's Christmas list.

Yep, you can really measure the competence of a multi-billion dollar program in a couple three months, right?

Well, maybe not.

Yeah, it sucks to have two incompetent presidents in a row, but shit happens.

Of course we can't measure the 'competence of a multi-billion dollar program after 3 months'....not of the whole program. That's not what I said though, Is it? Major portions of this act are already delayed. One measurement of the competence of the Chief Executive is an evaluation of the roll out of his signature program...which was a disaster.

If Obama knew the US Government was launching a crippled, broken, barely functioning web site on the US Public it was a demonstration of incompetence. A good CEO would have never turned that POS on until it was ready...or at least close to ready. I can only imagine what you'd be saying if it was President Romney who foisted this particular piece of crap (a non functioning web site for sign ups) on the people.

If Obama didn't have a clue how bad the web site was and how screwed up the launch was going to be, well then he didn't have a clue. He demonstrated incompetence...either in his understanding, follow-up or management of the team he created to make this happen. Remember where the buck stops?

But then we were talking about what YOU claimed scares Don Diego. I was only suggesting that the President's Competence, Policies and Agenda MIGHT be what scares Don Diego. That IS what YOU were referring to, right? If not 'Please elaborate' as Don Diego twice requested.

No, you equated the president with a CEO that deserved to be fired, which is even dimmer.

Okay, I'll play. How about the first year or two of the Civil War - for the United States I mean, not the traitors. How about our entry into World War II in the Pacific - caught napping at Pearl Harbor, and our initial losses against the Germans - getting our asses kicked by Rommel's superior troops and tactics. Or almost getting run off the peninsula in the initial months of the Korean War. And then there's the matter of 241 American servicemen killed in Beirut, and Kennedy's Bay of Pigs, and Bush's Medicare Part D.

But oh yeah, a website was broken for the first two months, after Republicans engaged in active sabotage against the program by refusing to set up state marketplaces, and delayed the implementation further with a lawsuit that reached the Supreme Court. (Moral: Don't fart and then point at the dog.) And speaking of which alanleroy, how's Obamacare and the state marketplace doing there in California, where Jerry Brown and Arnold Schwarzenegger before him chose to cooperate with the law?

My point is that people who rendered judgement on Bush's war after two months and on Obamacare after two months - as well as rush to judgments regarding Lincoln, FDR, etc. - were either stupid or just blinded by ideology. And perhaps even that is a false choice.
Okay, I'll play. How about the first year or two of the Civil War - for the United States I mean, not the traitors. - Lincoln changed generals several times

How about our entry into World War II in the Pacific - caught napping at Pearl Harbor, - Kimmel and Short were both removed from command

and our initial losses against the Germans - getting our asses kicked by Rommel's superior troops and tactics. - Fredenhall was removed from command after Kasserine Pass

Sebilius still has her job

Thank you for proving our point

What obamacare plan have you signed up for?

WSJ poll shows that only 24% of the uninsured support obamacare. If the people that the law was supposed to help don't like it, what is the point?
