and our initial losses against the Germans - getting our asses kicked by Rommel's superior troops and tactics. - Fredenhall was removed from command after Kasserine Pass

Sebilius still has her job...
Who did Bush fire after 9/11?

Besides, Obama can NOT fire the Secretary of HHS because the Republicans would refuse to confirm ANY replacement in their frenzy to sabotage. I bet you can't name one Obama supporter that you honestly think they would confirm.

So one of the main options of any president - or any CEO - is unavailable to Obama because of a Republican party that actually admires people like Ted Cruz. So like I said, don't fart and then point at the dog.

"Besides, Obama can NOT fire the Secretary of HHS because the Republicans would refuse to confirm ANY replacement in their frenzy to sabotage"

What a lame excuse!

Sebilius would be replaced in the interim by her #2 person.

Who did Bush fire after 9/11. - another lame attempt at changing the subject. obamacare is his baby & it continues to be a disaster & nobody has been fired.

Gee I thought Obama didn't need any republicans to confirm his appointments anymore...so that lame excuse is a non starter. This must be his 'Good Job Sebillie' moment.

No doubt! That's the lamest excuse anyone could ever come up with, even you for forky, the king of excuses/deflecting/changing the issue.

The republicans would never confirm anyone new BWAHAHAHA

J

I think it's pretty obvious forky, yo're just arguing for arguments sake as usual. I wonder at what point did you finally come to grips what a POS this whole was/is?

If Obama was going to fire someone over this wouldn't he have to fire himself? Regardless if you are for or against Obamacare there is just simply no excuse for the failed launch. You would think Obama would take some interest in his signature achievement. You know at least call over there and say "hey were goanna launch the website in a couple of months is it working and if not when do you plan to beta test it. " Worse yet he knew everyone was going to scrutinize the exchange so there is really no excuse why that went so bad.

You're right, so correction: Obama couldn't have replaced his HHS secretary for the first 51 days of the roll out, because Republicans would have refused to confirm a pro-Obamacare replacement.

And Truman for the roll out of the Korean War? And FDR for the botched WWII roll out. And Lincoln... et al.

Because minimal awareness of whether the Web Site was ready for prime time is so much like the Civil War.

No, because the people who judged the Iraq War and people who judged Lincoln, Truman, FDR, etc. 60 days into a roll out have a lot in common. And it's nothing to be proud of.

I thought you judged the Iraq war before it started...

The POS legislation is more than 3 years old. That's when the healthcare bombs started landing on doctors, hospitals and insurance companies while the public "roll out" started 3 years after it became law. Was that not enough time? 60 days doesn't even belong in the conversation.

Comparing Obamacare to the start of any war is idiocy. Set up a different straw man, because you can't find a comparable real life situation.

You have already embraced the suck like Pelosi told you to. She, and you, don't realize that the suck you have embraced is absolute failure.
