I feel a consumer reports article coming on..

Now we find out that if the the costs in 2014 exceed the premiums the shortrfall will be covered by the feds.

Another example of finding out what's in it by passing it
RUT-ROH, looks like a few upper level guys throwing in the towel.

" Four out of the 15 chiefs of Obamacare insurance marketplaces run by individual states and the District of Columbia have either quit or gone on leave since the botched Oct. 1 launches of their health exchanges.

And given badly lagging sign-up rates in Affordable Care Act insurance policies in several other states, some other bosses likely will follow those four out the exit door."

As I said before it is corporate welfare not citizen welfare privatized profits and socialized losses.

Gosh, you mean it's now going to be illegal to treat femaleness as a pre-existing condition, and charge women more than men? I haven't felt this bad since they stopped Lester Maddox from serving fried chicken.

And they are getting rid of those wonderful Blue Cross policies that would pay $1,000 toward a $120,000 procedure? Why that's as American as patent medicine and faith healing!

And what are we getting in return? Policies that will pay a measly $114,000 toward a $120k procedure, and hope for the parents of a child with pre-existing cancer. As of January 1. Some bargain, huh?

And just to make jatki flinch - again - there's this:

Hey Forkush, there are over 300,000,000 people in the USA! Dear leader's signature legislation is an amazing success!

Your messiah lied to get elected, and lied to get the ACA passed.
That means they only need 1.9m to reach their 2m goal for the end of the year. Those are people who have signed up but not paid yet. In addition the govt is admitting 15,000 of those people (probably much higher) applications never made it to the insurance company, so they are not insured.

The govt is not realeasing the demo information which probably means the signups are older people with pre-existing conditions, who will require medical care exceeding their premiums.

How many of them are even eligible for Obamacare? Let's see if you have the integrity to admit that the number is only a tiny fraction of the 300 million (not that I'm pre-judging you or anything.)

Here is our Consitution's delegation to Congress of the power to create the ACA that you conveniently could not find:

ART I, SEC. 8:
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
(boldface added).

Since the entirety of the ACA now being enacted has already been deemed constitutional, the SC bill you trumpet, which proposes to frustrate the unconstitutional bits of ACA, it s complete nullity. Might as well pass a law declaring illegal all days that begin with the sun rising in the west.

Don, you're feigned ignorance is unbecoming. Sure, it riles up the jatki99s and the hoops2s and the BobOrmes, they don't know better: they're confused, fearful, and strangely like it.

But surely you know better, no?
