No, because the people who judged the Iraq War and people who judged Lincoln, Truman, FDR, etc. 60 days into a roll out have a lot in common. And it's nothing to be proud of.

I thought you judged the Iraq war before it started...
Nope, I didn't judge the Iraq War as incompetent before it started. I opposed it because it was wrong.

You judged it to be wrong before it happened. I judged Obamacare to be wrong before it happened...
Cool! We are BOTH entitled to our ideology.

But if I had judged Iraq to be an incompetent mess, or for that matter, after just a couple of months, I would have been a nitwit. Just like you and Obamacare.

Obamacare has been law since 2010. It is an ongoing, planned assault on American people. This isn't about 60 days of incompetence. It never has been about 60 days of anything. It is about government control. Embrace the suck!

Nah, maybe you should tell them about the now very popular Medicare Part D.

Whether you like Part D or not, the people who claimed it was doooomed forevah! because of the initial roll out were idiots. Just like today.

Well yes. That might work.

Me: "Mr. Investor, I know we're way over budget and we released this unusable product with 600 bugs, design flaws and security holes. Oh and we lost the confidence of all but our most zealous customers...but remember Medicare Part D, the Civil War and Windows Vista....this thing might work out yet'

Mr. Investor "How much of my money do you still have?"
Yeah, I remember the day I heard that Steve Jobs was fired from Apple.

For every Steve Jobs there are a dozen Richard E. Krafves. You know....those whose blunders actually had consequences.

Drama queen much?

So let's see if Obamacare functions as it was originally intended, with state marketplaces and websites that almost all Republican governors avoided. I understand that California leaders, including both governors Brown and Schwarzenegger, worked to make Obamacare successful. I asked Fresnan alanleroy about their results so far, but he hasn't responded for some reason.

Hmmm. Don Diego asked forkush several times about Forkush's comments yet there was no response for some reason.

I'm seeing figures of

A whopping 156,000 California sign ups as of the first week of December.
https://www.mercurynews.com/health/ci_24711755/obamacare-california-enrollees-make-up-nearly-third-nations

Of course over 1 million Californians had their insurance cancelled due to Obamacare

https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2013/11/12/calif-insurance-commissioner-more-than-1m-californians-having-insurance-cancelled-due-to-obamacare

So I guess we can say there are now at least 850,000 fewer insured in California due to Obamacare. Does that meet the Program Goals or Projections? Kind of like the Civil War...from a Southerner's Perspective.

Not true at all, and your ridiculous claim contradicts your own link. Sheesh.

It looks like zero policies are being cancelled in California, because of Obamacare: "The federal law requires policies to offer minimum levels of coverage, forcing companies to terminate many existing plans. But Jones said that under the law, insurers have another year to do so." So ALL cancellations are the choice of insurers, not on the law.

And by the way, the first month of Romneycare: 122 enrollments. Probably lots more people than that predicting disaster at the time, huh? And don't they look stupid now?

Jones said? What did ACA say and do? What expected reaction by insurance companies are ignored by Jones?

Romneycare as a model for Obamacare....medical bankruptcies increased during the first 3 years....state contributions to cover uninsured people increased from $1 billion in 2006 to $2 billion in 2011. Romneycare wasn't a nation-wide power grab. Romneycare is not a working model of success. Obamacare IS a working model of FAILURE.

Embrace the suck!

The Headline reads: "Calif. Insurance Commissioner: More Than 1M Californians Having Insurance Cancelled Due To ACA". Forkush interprets this article to mean none of these cancellations are because of the ACA. How twisted is that? Does Forkush understand the words "Cancelled Due to ACA"? Is CBS news just making shit up? Does he truly believe if there was no ACA that these 1 Million Californians would still have had their health insurance cancelled? It's just some strange coincidence?

He points to the fact that these companies have one more year to cancel policies and claims that's proof the cancellations are not because of the law. All that proves is that there are likely to be many more Californian's kicked off their plans due to the ACA before everything is said and done....You know the plans that if you liked them you could keep them....period.

1 Million Cancellations. 157,000 sign ups. Oh yeah. Obamacare is kicking butt in California.

According to YOUR article, ACA is the excuse, not the reason, for cancelling, since they are not compelled to do so by the law. Right? Correct? Is there any doubt?

And I really prefer the phrase Obamacare.
What obamacare plan have you signed up for?

Here is a recent update..

"Spurning President Obama’s plan for canceled policies, California's health insurance exchange voted against any extension for about 1 million policyholders in the state.

The five-member board of the exchange voted unanimously to keep its current requirement that insurers terminate most individual policies Dec. 31 because they don't meet all the requirements of the Affordable Care Act."

https://www.latimes.com/business/healthcare/la-fi-mo-covered-california-cancellations-20131121,0,996608.story#ixzz2nkhkQPZU

Well, well, well....
Fact: These insurers were FORCED to terminate the 1 million policies by the state you hold as a shining example of Obamacare in action.

Fact: The current score is 1 million lost, 157,000 gained. Well we have 13 more days to sign up 850,000. Just to break even.
