Watch out for drunk, naked drivers.

I had a Smokey and the Bandit special edition gold TA 400-4 barrel my favorite car....t-tops, gold eagle, the pinstripping, the works. It got a whopping 10mpg. Sigh. I do so miss it, tho.

The most Bitching car ever!!!

No. That would be a Camaro. (reference the Dead Milkmen)

I used to work with a guy that had a Citation. He never locked it. If the weather was nice he left the windows open. He finally resorted to leaving it unlocked, windows downs, parked in bad places with the keys in the ignition but no one would ever steal it.

Lots of people in my town had those Trans Ams with the 6.6 L engines and T-tops. Some had the flying chicken on the hood.

He failed to put the fifty and the pint of MD 20-20 on the dash, I suppose.

but who am I to question an "expert" on collectables, you may very well be right.

Don't FUCKING believe me ???? GOD DAMN....how many FUCKING times do I have to say it ????

Check out the frickin Mecum or Barrett-Jackson auctions on either Speed or Velocity Channel ! There is a shit load of em out there. Both repeats of earlier 2011 and 2012 auctions.....and upcoming late summer and fall auctions.....2012.

Do I need to provide viewing times also......jeeez. Want me to hold your hand when you cross the street ?

Some folks on the LVA do have a clue what I do for a living. Been involved in the classic car hobby since 1979. That's only 33 years. How dare a rookie like me venture an opinion on the Pontiac musclecar.

And for what it's worth......I do like the sober version of Randy Travis.

FWIW, only $30K?

Mustangs and some of the old MOPAR's sell for much more than that. Some MOPAR's sell north of $100K.

While I do like the screaming chicken's, I'd love to get my hands on a 68 GT Torino. price ranges

Trying to respond to quote about the Torino,
In 1981 I bought a 1968 Ford Grand Torino GT,
I went to college and 2 years later I sold it since
I needed money, It had a factory 4 Speed with an
8Ball for a shifter and it was a fastback. On side note
my dad's 1930 Ford Model A is this months " August"
Street Rodder, feature car, all of this from the original
post?
