Watch out for drunk, naked drivers.

the 70' era of the TA was not much more than a fuc*in rattle trap! They may be valuable now because most of them fell apart.

but who am I to question an "expert" on collectables, you may very well be right.

Don't FUCKING believe me ???? GOD DAMN....how many FUCKING times do I have to say it ????

Check out the frickin Mecum or Barrett-Jackson auctions on either Speed or Velocity Channel ! There is a shit load of em out there. Both repeats of earlier 2011 and 2012 auctions.....and upcoming late summer and fall auctions.....2012.

Do I need to provide viewing times also......jeeez. Want me to hold your hand when you cross the street ?

Some folks on the LVA do have a clue what I do for a living. Been involved in the classic car hobby since 1979. That's only 33 years. How dare a rookie like me venture an opinion on the Pontiac musclecar.

And for what it's worth......I do like the sober version of Randy Travis.

Chill out. It's just a car.
I had a Smokey and the Bandit special edition gold TA 400-4 barrel my favorite car....t-tops, gold eagle, the pinstripping, the works. It got a whopping 10mpg. Sigh. I do so miss it, tho.

The most Bitching car ever!!!
Randy Travis should give up Country Music and change to Heavy Metal. Maybe take up bashing or smashing as the punks call it.

FWIW, only $30K?

Mustangs and some of the old MOPAR's sell for much more than that. Some MOPAR's sell north of $100K.

While I do like the screaming chicken's, I'd love to get my hands on a 68 GT Torino. price ranges

(not in a good way) RM, TA's were mostly metal with the exception of the bumpers, and they had a bunch of plastic crap in there. (maybe some fiber as I recall)

Alas, mine was totaled as some idiot ran a stop sign at Kirkland, just around the corner from the Headquarters building of the Air Force Security Police. I used the proceeds to buy a brand new..........

Chevy Citation

Ok, you can quit laughing now.

It's called buying what you can afford.

I was an E-3 in the Air Force which at the time, meant I didn't make jack (just short of $500/month).
