Come on now, we all know people that are living off the government , people that are too lazy to work . It is not fiction . Everything that was stated by Lucy is in fact true. Of course, there are people in true need.
My guess is that the government thinks that there is a segment of the population that is just too stupid or too lazy to support themselves , so they must do it. Of course, they get a vote in return, to keep the "good thing " going .
Perhaps we need to take a moment today to reflect on John F. Kennedy's famous quote :

I have absolutely no desire to read anything from the doc.But I wonder if the link includes corporate welfare?Or the republican politician from Tennessee that collects government assistance for his farm?.Or the teaparty nut job(sorry,forgot his name) that ran for office in Idaho that hates everything about the government, including Medicaid.And guess what,he has 20 kids and they are on Medicade?Bet that's not in the link.
