Ever drivern on the Autobahn? If you get in the left lane, you don't stay there any longer than to pass as someone will be on your a$$ in 2.5 seconds no matter how clear it was.
No worries about accidents when they had the unlimited speed limits everywhere. If there was an accident, they just called the wreckers to haul away the scrap metal. The ambulance would just meet them to pick up the corpses.
