WSOP Champ Greg Raymer arrested in prostitution sting

Guess we can't use metaphors around Chilli. He won't comprehend.
So what happened to Raymer??
Thank you AlanLeroy. That pretty well sums it up. I don't know what is wrong with Chills cognitive processes. Could be those pesky little nits.

One proviso though. I don't consider it a victimless crime. Other than that we are in agreement.

Treegirl, i truely wish you the best in your blind faith in all things law enforcement as they have a particularly poor record in their dealings with the fairer sex. I feel a minimum amount of circumspection is called for in any dealings with them. It never hurts to be careful.
Don't worry about me.

Ok..who was the victim of Raymers solicitation? The cop dressed like a hooker? I'm sure she was shocked and never expecting such an advance. Maybe it tramatized her.
I live in NC and about everything having to do with sex is against the law. Even if your wife is giving you oral sex that is a crime against nature. Here sex is sin! Well good sex is sin.

F'n police have nothing better to do. Why do they even go after prostitution arrests anyways?

REVENUE for the local jurisdiction.

This is an easy and non dangerous way for the police to pad the coffers...Hardly any jail time ever for the perp...pay a big fine and all is good and charges dismissed (after they get the money).

I can see investigating prostitution cases if there is a robbery or beating.

Raymer was low hanging fruit....easy to nab and gets hit with a big fine I am sure.

Yes...let's blame the police for this.
Prostitution is illegal. You have to wonder about the men who think nothing is wrong with it.
All 10's right?

So what's your opinion on places where it is legal and regulated? Like the brothels in Parhump, I mean Pahrump, Nevada?

If its legal, it's legal. I've seen pics of the women who service the way below 10 men.
Go for it.

How about undercover marijuana busts? How about the ridiculous "crimes of nature" laws that are still on the books. Is it, "if it's illegal, it's illegal?" Or is it okay to start applying common sense to some of our idiot laws?
