Bob Evan's restaurant today

I might have plenty to say, in a different thread. This thread is not about shootings, which you pretend to care about only to support your racist views.

Also, the virus hasn't cost "maybe 1 life," as you so idiotically put it. The truth is that irresponsible, premature "opening up" has already cost thousands of lives.

And let's not pretend that all this back-and-forth is about ANYTHING other than getting Trumpie-poo reelected.

I sat down at this local restaurant, which is the first restaurant that I have sat down inside since the virus began.  I've been to this place many times in the past, and would estimate that the place is doing 1/3 of it's normal business.  They only had three employees working, vs the normal ten (I asked).

This can't go on forever people.  No work means no money and no wealth.  All the things that Americans have become accustomed to rely on jobs which add value and create wealth.  No money means no stuff.

The virus and the economy are linked. Something that dopes like trump and you just can't comprehend.

It is amazing how much you miss the point so consistently.

What I said was that you get your panties in a twist when by opening the economy we MIGHT incur some deaths.

I pointed out that you get angry over a maybe, but not a word about actual deaths.

By the way please provide a quote of a racist statement that I made.

For the record, . . . poor old DonDiego would politely turn-down Boilerman's suggestion of intentionally contracting the coronavirus.

It's just his personal choice; he would not stand in any other volunteer's path who would wish to comply.

I'm not complaining about capitalism, but I understand you position.  I have argued from March 1, however, that we should be encourage all able bodied americans to be come infected and to end this thing quickly.  Spending years in an economic contraction is conterproductive and will kill far more than the virus ever will.

I appreciate your sensible comments.

Herd immunity didn't work out so well for Sweden. A bunch of people died for nothing as herd immunity was never achieved.  The latest information says natural immunity from having caught COVID-19 only lasts a few months and then you can catch it again.  The bottom line is herd immunity isn't achviable without a vaccine.

Tom said, "I hate Black people. They're inferior and should all be sent back to Africa or killed."

Don't know why you wanted me to do that, Tom, but I'm happy to comply.

Actually, I would actively stop any person from doing something so reckless and irresponsible, just as I would actively prevent someone from driving blindfolded on the freeway.

You see, what Boiler doesn't understand is, it's not just about HIM. People who get infected infect others. You may be fine and la-de-da about the risks, but YOU are not the only person affected by your actions.

Of course, if Boilerman is a classic narcissist like Trump, a possibility I am certainly not ruling out, he could be all that matters to him.

You missed the point as usual.  You go ballistic about maybe losing 1 life to the virus, but you have nothing to say about the actual hundreds being shot & the children being killed on a weekly basis.

Let's say that we have a retired guy with a net worth of $2 million.  His mortgage free $500,000 home burns down.  To simplify this, he has no homeowners insurance.  How will retired guy regain his $500,000 loss of wealth?

If his investments do well, and can get back to a net worth of $2 million, but he would have been at $2.7 had his house not burned.

Assets lost are lost, and they are not magically replaced.  If he had insurance, then the insurance company has a loss of wealth.  Either way, there is a $500,000 net loss of wealth of.

Replace, not regain.

That is by far the most outlandish lie you have ever posted!

Please repost the entire post, like I just did for you.

In fact show me the title of the thread so I can find it myself.
