How upset are you going to be?

Indeed !

The folks at Shut Down DC have published their plans.  And they encourage their supporters to "Come up with a plan to create serious disruption if Trump really tries to steal the election!"

Persons interested in participting are invited to BLM Plaza.

The key point there being "Trump trying to steal the election".

If Trump insists upon staying in power despite a counting of legitimate ballots saying he lost the election then  I give full support to  any pro-Democracy forces attempting to remove him by whatever means necessary.    I would hope any pro-Democracy person would.

Don DIego is free to choose whatever side of that fence he wishes but only one side would be in the spirit of the country he claims to be a patriot of.

If Trump loses the election but steals it with the help of his various lackeys and stooges (especially SCOTUS!)--or simply won't yield power--then armed insurrection might be our country's last hope.

Our country was formed on the premise of armed resistance to an illegitimate tyrant. Besieging Trump in his bunker would be an act of the highest patriotism.

Of course, we're all hoping it doesn't come to that.

Surprisingly perhaps to others, but not to poor old DonDiego, . . . DonDiego agrees that President Trump should not be allowed to "steal the election".

[Some long time ago poor old DonDiego took an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic".]

In the highly unlikely event that such theft as PJStroh imagines were apparent, DonDiego doubts that combatting such duplicity would come down to "whatever means necessary".  He has more faith than PJStroh in the policing capability of the Government to avoid, say, armed combat.

Poor old DonDiego supposes if President Trump does win re-election legitimately,as in 2016, the much more likely sources of violence would be the urban leftists, . . . as usual.  The law-abiding citizenry can, once again observe on TV the looting and civil disorder of the great urban centers of the USA by the Democrats dwelling in such cities (as currently occuring in Philadelphia).

DonDiego's premise becomes rather flaccid when one considers that when Trump "won" the election in 2016, the streets were not filled with rioting "urban leftists." DonDiego decries civil disorder (including perfectly legal civil disobedience and protests), but has no problem with the President of the United States committing treason, fraud, tax fraud, and bribery. DonDiego also seems to have nooooooo problem at all with Trump disdainfully and repeatedly ignoring the Constitution that he, DonDiego, claims to have sworn to protect.

That makes me doubt DonDiego's claim. A person who has taken such an oath and continues to honor it would and should utterly reject Donald Trump.

Nor, by the way, would a person who has taken such an oath opine that the BLM protestors have no right to engage in peaceful assembly and demonstrations--nor would he opine that when a few people resort to violence, that somehow invalidates the rights of others to protest.

I can only conclude that when DonDiego took that oath, he wasn't really listening---or he's never actually read the Constitution that he swore to defend.

I want tot hank Don Diego for referencing 2016.

In 2016 Hillary Clinton ceded the  victory to Donald Trump given the electoral majority he won with a minority of popular votes.    And a similarr dynamic took place in every election prior to that with the electoral loser ceding to the electoral winner.   (Even in 2000 when that electoral decision was made by a Republican controlled Supreme Court).

2020 is the first year in our American history where one of the candidates has not committed to a peaceful transition of power and is already fueling baseless conspiracy theories and undermining the legitimacy of the democractic election.

55% of Americans believe 2020 Election Day will be most stressful day of their lives!

"the most stressful day of their lives" ! ! !

Holy Moly !

These folks just do not get out enough.

For the record:  the most stressful day in poor old DonDiego's life was his first day at kindergarten !  The loss of freedom was most distressing, not to mention all these youngsters with whom he was totally unfamiliar.

He's been pretty mellow since then.

Well, when DonDiego entered kindergarten, there was no threat of a fascist dictatorship taking over the country--though that might not have registered in the mind of a toddler anyway.

DonDiego might take comfort, though, in the fact that if Trump wins and becomes the last President of the United States, kindergarten will be abolished in favor of "youth education camps." Young tykes will be given wooden guns, taught to march and sing, and swear an oath of loyalty before a giant portrait of their glorious leader.

Those kids will have a ball, and will especially enjoy the jolly songs about killing Hispanics.

Hmm, . . . what rymes with "Hispanic", . . .

panic

ceramic

dynamic

satanic

volcanic

tympanic

hydrocyanic

transatlantic

electrodymanic

This song should be a cinch !

. . . not to mention: educational !

Color me shocked !   I would have guessed the day Democrats passed Mitt Romney's socialist takeover of our helathcare system would've qualified as the most stressful day in DonDiego's life.    That must have been one mean kindergarten class.

Shrinks could see their incomes rise precipitously.

Patient: "Doc, I've been so stressed ever since Election Day, more than ever in my life."

MD:      "Alright.  Here is a prescription for Valium.  Take one every four hours."

Patient: "I already take that.  It doesn't help."

MD:       "Alright.  Here is a prescription for Ativan.  Take one every four hours."

Patient:  "I already take that too.  It doesn't help either."

MD:        "Hmm, how is it that you already take these medicines?"

Patient:   "I steal them from my mom's medicine cabinet."

MD:         "Well, perhaps you might benefit from some stress reduction exercises."

Patient:    "Can't you give me some marijuana or heroin or something stonger?"

MD:         "OK.  Here are some sleeping pills.  Take two tonight, and call another doctor in the morning."

MD:         "Next."
