I think that we'll all be less stressed once the election is over. However, despite what Trumpie-poo bleats, it won't be over on Election Day. Votes will be counted for several days afterward--too bad, Republicans!
The next phase will be the court challenges, the Trumper riots, the cascade of nonsense from the alt-right media, and Trump's whining and making his stupid hand gestures at press conferences where he will complain that the Democrats are trying to steal the election---by, gosh...counting all the votes!!!!! How scandalous!!
Then, our stress levels will slowly drop as Trump loses his court cases one by one. We'll breathe a huge national sigh of relief as Biden is sworn in and Trump is dragged out of the White House in handcuffs.
OR...Trump does manage to overturn the election results, either in the courts, in Republican state legislatures, or a combination of the two...in which case, this country will come apart at the seams.
I don't think we'll need much medication either way. Either the problem is solved with a Biden victory and a relatively peaceful transfer of power, or...we'll all be struggling just to survive the chaos, in which case food will be more of a concern than medications.
I'm not exaggerating about the magnitude of the threat BTW. If Trump manages to steal the election via SCOTUS or some other scam, we'll see tens of millions of people losing all faith in their country and its institutions. The Trumper scum will cavort and crow, and will feel they have carte blanche to act on their worst impulses. You'll see hundreds of lynchings and many other acts of wholesale murder. Trump will abolish the Bill of Rights, and have all the Democrat senators and congresspersons arrested. Fun for all!
