You are correct - my sincere apologies.

No worries...understandable error. Now if I could just sway you on the merits of conservatism. *l*

No worries, I have no false hopes in that regard. Continue to make your Ying argument...I'll contribute to the Yang side very sporadically. Carry on.

My take is that you, unfortunately, subscribe to a wackadoodle ideology and a worldview that is funhouse-mirror warped--but you're nice about it. That's not only rare on this board, it's downright unique. All our RepubliQ conservitards regularly scream at and call liars anyone who disagrees with them or DARES to contradict their deep-baked mindsets.

So you're like a jar of sauerkraut that's been sitting in the back of the fridge for two years, and you cautiously open and sniff it, and it smells fine. I like surprises!

So Yang away.

Sauerkraut in the fridge for two years? That sounds like a bad movie. In fact, sauerkraut in the fridge for two minutes also sounds like a bad movie. Screaming and assigning assorted derogatory labels to the liberals in this forum obviously hasn't proven effective. It's obvious your  faction employs the same retort methods..also obviously ineffective, as all apparently derive some sort of skewed entertainment value from verbally whacking the opponent upside the head. The whole scene also represents a bad movie..with no progress, little humor, and no end *l*. But, it's your bidness and has it's own special appeal for all involved, apparently.

Just to be honest, my stances and subscription to my conservative wackadoodle ideology won't change, either. So all involved are stuck in their own specifically inescapable positional rut, I guess.*l* The altering of most all issue / policy positions by individuals likely won't ever occur here. So, I always find myself asking " what's the point" ? *l* It ain't a good screenplay...but I can choose to not watch it , fortunately *l* Press on, fellas..and vote so the opposing 50% of the population can all bitch and moan about the next round of ineffective politicians.

Cheers...

It must be nice defending the merits of conservatism without actually identifying any conservative politicians that you support. I guess you can just imagine a "conservative Jesus," and not have to deal with reality.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, you've got Trump, Desantis, and most Republican politicians who defended the blackmail of Ukraine and the 1/6 insurrection, deleting women's rights, and gay rights, closing libraries, and threatening school board members and even Disney.

Are those the merits of conservatism?

Oh, and I left off the worst of them. You know, the Republican politicians who oppose much of the above, but are too cowardly to speak out against them. You know, like just about all of them.

Here is what the Toyota president has to say about California's law.  He is politely saying - not happening

The president of Toyota Motor Corporation said this week that adhering to California’s plan to ban gas emission vehicles will be "difficult" to achieve, and battery powered cars will take longer to phase in than the "mainstream media" believes.

"Realistically speaking, it seems rather difficult to really achieve them," Toyota Motor Corporation President Akio Toyoda told reporters through a translator on Thursday discussing California’s new mandates.

"But just like the fully autonomous cars that we were all supposed to be driving by now, BEVs are just going to take longer to become mainstream than the media would like us to believe," Toyoda told car dealers at the event.

We'll just have to see how it plays out, wont we?   10 years ago you scoffed at the very idea of having EV vehicles.   Now you've been force-fed that reallity and changed your narrative to scoffing at the timeline.    Whatever.

Regardless, you can support a government that is gearing up, partnering, and investing in this transition.  Or you can support a government that thinks our ENergy future lies in the oil sands of Canada and the Keystone pipeline.       Nice that we have that choice, isnt it?   Clearly you've made yours.

See you in another 10 years when you'll be force fed another reality.

PJ, unlike most Libs, I argue for the future and present.  We will not be mostly EV's in 20 years.  Just wait for the Salton Sea Lib generated battle.  Most Libs won't do their homework on this issue due to their inherent laziness..........a characteristic held by most Libs.

10 years ago your homework told us EV vehicles were some kind of liberal, science-ficiton fantasy.

I'll listen to the car manufacturers.   ANd you can do some homework with the My Pillow dude.

I have no idea what Boiler is babbling about specifically, and I don't care, but his and stupid Tommie-poo's (etc.) position is that we won't he able to meet this technological challenge--even though we're the richest and most powerful nation in the world.

I study history. Saying we'll fail at this is like saying a team that has won the last fifteen Super Bowls will lose.

You might ask--why is the RepubliQ so against progress anyway? Isn't business and industry supposed to be their shtick? The answer, of course, is that the fossil fuel companies stuff money into the RepubliQ's pockets.

PJ, you can't even back up the lies you've made about my comments from this week.  How can you ever back up this lie.

Libs complain to those speaking the truth.
