Ohio train derailment

I'm saying that had Obama's regulations were in place that they would have done nothing.  We can always spend limitless money to make things safer.  How about a cop in every classroom, hotel, office building, classroom or car?

The point is that Liberals are again lying about the facts.  Wait.  Lyin' Liberals is redundant.

That's a stupid argument, and so typical of Boiler. I recall the same argument about seat belts and speed limits:: "Well gee, why don't we just make driving illegal and save fifty thousand lives per year?"

Simple minds like Boiler's don't understand the concept of incremental improvement.

I've read that the crash was caused by wheel bearing failure.  I don't know much about the cleanup, but I'm confident that it's going well.  I've not complained about the cleanup effort.  I have complained to friends about those who are whining about where the cleanup waste is being sent.  The nasty stuff, vinyl chloride will only be left in trace quantities since it is a gas at 8 degrees.

So let me get this straight...when you bitch about something, it's "complaining," but when someone else complains about something, it's "whining"?

Those whining about the transport of the waste don't know what they are talking about.  They heard how bad vinyl chloride is, but aren't smart or informed enough to know that their is a tiny amount of VC left since it becomes a gas a 8 degrees F.

I already knew this information, but here is the state of Ohio talking about vinyl chloride.  I'm not an expert, but I know more than most.  Our resident Libs are too lazy to do any research.

VC is lighter an water, and while slightly soluable in water, it will tend to evaporate almost fully from water and soil.  The waste being hauled away, both liquid and soil, while have very little VC.

Those freaking about about the transport of this waste are ignorant or stupid.  Take your pick.

None of what you posted backs up your claim that vinyl chloride isn't dangerous.

Todd, tell me one thing that's not dangerous in sufficient quantities (let's think water, oxygen, carbon dioxide), and one thing that is dangerous in very small quantities (let's think vinyl chloride).  Hell, there's benzene in your gasoline, but we don't die from this exposure after pumping our gasoline for a lifetime.

Yo, stupid...

"Very little" is not the same thing as "none"--especially when you're talking about toxic substances. And your "expert" research didn't take into account what amount of vinyl chloride is toxic/dangerous...did it? Hint: a very small amount!

Saying "oh, what the hell, it'll all evaporate" is stupid, irresponsible, careless, and dangerous. Thank God you're not in charge of anything!
