Old Town Chicago.

Since MP is to dishonest to fact check here are the facts

Cities like NY & chicago have DA's who have said they will not prosecute certain felonies & downgrade them to misdeamoners, if they are charged at all.

The facts from his own memo

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has vowed not to prosecute some violent crimes and downgrade felonies like armed robberies to the misdemeanor petit larceny if there isn't a 'genuine threat', even if a weapon is involved   Police are regularly assaulted & nothing is done

https://nypost.com/2022/07/26/16-year-old-cop-basher-shows-just-how-broken-nyc-justice-is/

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón has decided not to file felony charges against Isaiah Lee, the man who assaulted comedian Dave Chappelle on stage at the Hollywood Bowl on May 3rd

Another example

Woods tried to stab the Asian victim in the neck. The victim’s hand was sliced as he tried to protect himself. Yet, because of Gascón’s policies, felony charges requested by LAPD were rejected, and the case was referred to the city attorney for misdemeanor charges. Only after Mr. Lee was murdered did the DA reclaim the case and file felony charges for the first knife attack by Mr. Woods.

The Claim

Minors who commit felonies get sent to family court.

The facts

Bragg according to the memo intends to limit underage defendants in adult courts.

The claim

Gascon is reviewing all death sentences.

Fact

Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon is committed to reducing that number, seeking to resentence at least 15 death row inmates to life without parole. There are 215 inmates on California's death row sentenced to death from L.A. County. Fox News has obtained a list of 65 of those cases currently undergoing Gascon's sentencing review.

The claim

Another NYC example is the bodega case where the DA charged a man defending himself with 2nd degree murder, while letting the woman who stabbed him go free.

The fact

Jose Alba, 61, had been charged with second-degree murder in the killing Austin Simon, 35, on the night of July 1. Surveillance video of their confrontation shows Simon came behind the bodega counter and shoved Alba, who then grabbed a knife and stabbed Simon multiple times.

Simon's girlfriend then took a knife from her purse and stabbed Alba, the complaint states. She is not currently facing charges, according to a spokesperson for the prosecutor's office.

The claim

The Bronx DA chose to downgrade the charges & release the felon (who is on lifetime parole) who put an innocent man in the hospital with a coma.

The fact

A convicted sex offender who allegedly cold-cocked a man on a Bronx street — leaving him in a coma with brain injuries — was freed without bail Thursday after getting his attempted-murder charges reduced in the unprovoked attack.

The claim

These cases happen daily There are numerous felons in NYC who have 40+ arrests & are still walking the streets.

This is to long to summarize, so if MP is not to lazy here is the story

I stopped after the story explained that the first three examples were in jail.

That's the thing about liars like tom. They lie.

But they mostly all have none of those things I've listed.  How can that be?

And what was your point MP?  Would all these things be better if the cities kept their tax $....i.e. more spending?  I'm just trying to understand your initial point.  I want you to say things would be better if they could spend more.

Cabrini Green is not a neighborhood, IT WAS A SLUM PUBLIC LIVING COMPLEX.  You know, free shit.  Most of this place was torn down in 1995 when it closed.

The entire area on the 1.7 mile North Avenue stretch is closed down business after busines all the way Wells street or maybe a block or two to the west.  Big stores that closed include a Target, a Kohl's, one of my favorite Mexican joints, and couple hundred more establishments.

The area is not nearly as safe as it used to be, but the punks come up to Wells street with the obvious objective to ruin the fun for those paying to enjoy the restaurants and bars.  Setting their ghetto blaster within several feet of people eating on the sidewalk at a cafe.  Bumping into tables on purpose while claiming it was an accident, spilling all drinks and sometimes food.  Plenty of vulgarity.  Who wants to deal with that, and why to Libs say this is fine?  The organization is called "Shut Down".

I did not visit Oak Street beach, but was told by a cop that they now know when the punks are coming to Oak Street Beach and Wells Street by watching social media.  The cops now arrive before the punks and the crowd is dispersed before most trouble begins.......other than throwing shit at cops, cursing at them and fucking up the cop cars.  The cops then have to follow the punks to the next place they decide to go to ruin the day of white people.  The city needs to encourage cops to kick some ass, because the inmates are running the asylum.

Jerry, of course, those cities would do better with better funding. But let's try a little thought experiment here.

While New York state pays about $100 billion more in federal taxes than they receive in federal spending, Kentucky gets about $150 billion more in federal spending than they pay in federal taxes.

What if those numbers were reversed? Would education, policing, health care, roads, pension funds, infrastructure, recreational facilities, etc. improve in New York and be degraded in Kentucky?

To say the answer is obvious would be an insult to Captain Obvious.

Probably not in NY.  NY city is run by idiots.  They'd waste it on other crap programs most likely.  Same goes for almost all our top 20 cities in the US.  You think Lori Lightweight would spend more $ correctly in Chicago?  If that was the case, that thing wouldn't have a haircut like she (I think) does.

As usual mp reads what he wants to read or perhaps toxic kevin was his 3rd grade reading teacher

I stopped after the story explained that the first three examples were in jail.

The first 3 examples shows nobody was arrested.  A few were rearrested only after much negative publcity.

Bragg's official policies downgrades felonies to misdemeanors  & the felon is released with no bail

Minors are not charged with felonies & are sent to family court where they are released

The woman who stabbed the bodega worker was never charged.  The bodega worker eventually had the charges dropped after the incident was publicized.  He spent several days in jail, where his wound (from the uncharged woman) got infected

The man (who was on lifetime parole) who sucker punched an innocent man was released & only rearrested  after that incident was publicized.

https://nypost.com/2022/08/03/the-post-recaps-some-of-nycs-worst-repeat-offenders/

The above story shows numerous examples of criminals being arrested numereous times (one with 97 arrests) & are still not in jail.

Do you realize how specious that argument is?

"Things are shit there. Damn liberals!"

"They would be better if there wasn't so much tax money diverted elsewhere."

"Yeah, but them liberals would just fuck it up."

So immediately following a gripe about how terrible things are, is a statement about how trying to fix things would be futile.

So obviously, we need to elect noble and wise conservatives to run everything and it will all instantly become unicorns and rainbows.

BLAUUUUUGH!

So the do-nothing  police force is policing?  Thats a big admission from you.

And you're blaming retail stress on black people instead of the pandemic?....which one of your friends told you that?

You've come along way from your original thread.   Your claims of rampant assault and battery have been reduced to you witnessing a traffic violation...Only now you have a new set of allegations against black people which you did not witness.   "Bumping into tables" this time.   Thats big.

If Boiler and his imaginary friends honestly thought those neighborhoods were as dangerous as they say--hordes of wild-eyed black people waving machetes, looking for Boiler-types to decapitate--they wouldn't go there, would they? And if they didn't actually go there, they'd have to rely on anecdotes...and Facebook posts..and racist conservitard propaganda...to evaluate the situation.

Boilerthink is easy to understand. What I don't get is why he doesn't move to a much whiter place.

No, not necessarily but these cities just might want to try something new.  It clearly isn't currently working.

Did Kevin teach MP third grade by chance?
