I don't blame teachers for not wanting to return until after the Pandemic ended. Hell in some Red States they couldn't even require those brats to be vaccinated or wear a mask during the pandemic. I'm not going to try to "defend" my chosen career. I did good, valuable work, and did it well. It took a LOT of qualifications and preparation, both initially and on an ongoing basis.
