Who was President when the subsidies began? Why just another POS DemocRAT -- Barack Obama was President when Tesla started receiving significant government subsidies. In 2010, the Department of Energy under the Obama administration granted Tesla a $465 million loan, which was crucial for the development and production of the Model S sedan, as part of a larger, $2.4 billion initiative to support electric vehicles --- By the way,Tesla is not garbage.
If you are looking to me to attempt to defend Obama or most of his policies look elsewhere. I was never a fan.
I suspect that because I am critical of Trump, you think I am a Democrat. I am not. You may presume I was a fan of Obama or Biden. I was not.
It's actually interesting to think about. If musk was not able to fleece the Obama administration, maybe he wouldn't be nearly as wealthy as he is now.
Is Musk the Obama Administration's Frankenstein's monster?
My only problem with Musk is his invasion of politics.
DOGE was a fiasco on many levels.....but his ability to buy his way into that role was the real corruption.

I never assumed who you claim to be. I am just pointing out that Obeyme was the one who oversaw the subsidies. Musk did not "fleece" anyone - the tree hugging enviromentalists embraced the electric car concept and Tesla was backed by those in Congress. Take up your complaint with them.
Now for the facts
Tesla is failing as an automaker right now. They built massive factories and spent billions to develop the cyber truck. They built infrastructure based upon selling 500,000 units a year and they can't even sell 50k units a year.
They sell almost 2m per year.
2025 (full year): Deliveries were 1,636,129 vehicles
Tesla delivered 358,023 vehicles in Q1 2026, a 6.3% increase year-over-year,
Tesla has multi busineses
Tesla’s business is evolving into a clean energy + AI/robotics platform, with EV sales still contributing but increasingly as a stable base rather than the growth engine

Now for the real facts Tom.
I was talking about sales of the Cybertruck not the collective sales numbers for all their vehicles. Almost all of their product development money for years went into that epic failure.
Read it and 😢

Did you stipulate the Cybertruck alone, or did you intentionally mislead everyone to assume you meant all of the Tesla offerings? Rereading your previous post makes it clear that you did what you always do - mislead.

When one publishes, distributes, or posts a work, the default implication is that they wrote it. If one did not write said work the ethical thing to do is give proper attribution to the author.
You, in your misguided self righteous opinion, assume too much. I will continue to post future articles in exactly the same way. If you have a problem with what I post, just block me.

Well, here is what he said:
.........."Tesla is failing as an automaker right now. They built massive factories and spent billions to develop the cyber truck. It seemed pretty clear to me he was talking about the cyber truck.

I did. This is what I posted in my first post in this thread:
