I just think its hilarious Tom is defending TESLA's EV car sales. Tom, I thought EV vehicles were just some kind of liberal science fiction that was a giant waste of money. I guess you changed your mind?

It was an epic failure one of the biggest in automotive history.

Did you stipulate the Cybertruck alone, or did you intentionally mislead everyone to assume you meant all of the Tesla offerings? Rereading your previous post makes it clear that you did what you always do - mislead.
A child could discern that he was talking about specifically cybertruck production and sales. However, because your reading skills are extremely poor, you were, yeah, "misled" when he stated CYBER TRUCK.

I dont understand - in the span of 24 hours on this thread you go from pointing to the success of Tesla Car sales....but also say EV's are an epic failure.
I mean - your hypocrisy is a known quantity but this might be a new record for you.

The first paragraph he's quoting another poster. The second paragraph he is giving his response.
It's a posting style Tom has that sometimes confuses me too.
I suggested to him before that the confusion could be reduced by using "italics and quote marks" and/or by using a different color text when quoting others. He either didn't notice my suggestion or didn't think it was worth doing.
I do use italics, but sometimes it doesn't make its way after I hit reply

Yes, the formatting options are rather limited at the LVA especially when posting from a phone as I suspect most do now. I wish they would bring back the post in BB code which allowed for easy formatting.

Ahh. That makes sense. Sometimes the forum can have weird bugs like that.
Texas is always among the annual leaders the past few years in population increases among the states. It's number 1 currently. They have a business friendly tax environment ( no state income tax, no corporate income tax, no inheritance tax, and no estate taxes). They impose high sales and property taxes to make up the difference, however. From a business standpoint, no wonder Musk initiated this venture in Texas after having many of his business bases in California. He'd already moved his Space-X ventures to Texas in 2024.

Yeah, well, "business friendly" is "people unfriendly." Texas lags far behind other states in providing basic services. The roads are awful--poorly maintained and unsafe. Their state medical care is a joke. They don't control pollution at all. It's a shithole, but yeah, a cheap shithole.
Texas is very reluctant to fund social programs, because they don't want a dime going to brown people. Those folks are definitely on the bottom rung of Texas society, and allowing them to make a decent living might endanger that.
It's kind of great, though, that there are places where if the only thing you care about is taxes, you can go and live large. The brown slaves will fight each other for the chance to clean your toilets and cook your food. No beauty, no society, no progress. Just a flat, ugly desert dump.
Elon, of course, is enthralled.
