The truth about Iran's nuclear ambitions

Billions of dollars of damage - I don't think so

5 according to this article but that appears to be a conservative estimate as some outlets are reporting up to 25 billion to rebuild those damaged bases.

This article is an opinion piece about the New York Times obituary of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, recounting Iran's lies concerning their agreements and the world's steps to punish them for it. It doesn't seem to address Iran's current nuclear capabilities or ambitions at all. The final paragraph says in part, "The obituary, instead of exposing Khamenei as a serial cheater in pursuit of a doomsday weapon, characterized him as a victim of U.S. dishonesty."

What is your point that you're trying to get across about this article?

Sorry, Boilerboob. Calling them "terrorists" is a feeble attempt to justify Trump's war crimes, and no one's buying it.

Civilians simply need to stay away from power plants, bridges, military bases, and terrorists, and they will be fine.  This war must be won within the next 3 weeks."

The war wasn't won in three weeks, now what? Will you simply extend the timeline and then wait for a Democratic President to extract the US from another Middle East war and blame them for any failures?

Just going by recent history.

Why did Obama attack Yugoslavia, Libya syria and shoot a few missiles at Iran. Why did Obama invade Pakistan?

8,000 civilians have not been killed

Obama did not attack Yugoslavia. Why do you always fall back on but they did it too? It's a very weak argument.

Edit: I moved on to the next thread and saw this post you made:

Trumps assassins were not republicans.

Jan 6th was wrong but was also 6 years ago. Time for democrats to move on.

What about all the liberal riots and billions in damages, police officers injuries.

So the Trump-instigated attack on the Capitol and his attempt to overthrow a lawful election were 6 years ago, so it's time for Democrats to move on. You cite Obama's actions from his presidency, which ended 9 years ago.  Dude, so hypocritical and just a terribly weak argument.

I would be ashamed if I posted this drivel.

I will never "move on" from a sitting President of the United States of America trying to overthrow a free and fair election. While you dwell on the bombings of foreign countries a decade ago to try to justify the actions of "your guy".

Do you think that stupid Tom will ever "move on" from his Biden Derangement Syndrome? I mean, really, the dude's frickin' obsessed! Every damn thing in the world that Tom doesn't like was caused by Biden. When it rains on Tom, that's Biden rain. Tom has suffered through dozens of Bidenquakes and cowered beneath Biden thunderstorms.

Why do you suppose that is? Maybe 50 or so years ago, Tom asked Biden out, but Biden turned him down? Perhaps the bitterness still lingers?

Didn't you hear what Trump told Hannity?

"I don't think it's necessary [to get the uranium], except from a public relations standpoint," Trump said. "I think it's important for the fake news that we get it."

So, there was no real justification for the war as Trump doesn't even think it is necessary to get the uranium 😂

So you're okay with Iran having nuclear weapons?   Don't give gibberish, just your position.

Trump's intelligence chief testified that there was no "imminent threat".  Wouldn't it have been nice to have international inspectors investigating nuclear sites in Iran over the last eight years?  Instead, we got bluster and threats, and paranoia.  Too bad we didn't have actual neutral, inspectors measuring nuclear enrichment.

John Ratcliffe, a family friend, has never said any such thing.

Trump screwed the pooch by reneging on the treaty we had with Iran. Despite his bluster, the CIA, FBI, and the neutral inspectors all say that Iran was complying.

Boilerboob's "source" is ridiculous. We know that MAGA has to keep lying and waving their pom-poms to support the Turd War. But even Boilerboob understands that we're bleeding money and not getting anywhere.

I also challenge Boilerboob to cite the law that allows us to wage undeclared war on another sovereign nation just because we THINK they MAY be a threat.

Question for Boilerboob: We've bombed Iran and killed its citizens. A de facto state of war exists. Do they have the right to bomb the US? Drop a nuke on Tel Aviv or DC?

As I pointed out, Iran was cheating all along.

According to who?    And what timeline are you referencing that made not going to Congress or allies not feasible?

Even if you are naive enough to think the war was necessary you cant defend the incompetence about how it was gone after.    The cats out of the bag.   Netanyahu sold Trump on the same salespitch he tried with every president before him.   But Trump's circle of Yes-man doesnt have any intelligent advisors that could warn him of the consequences we are facing now.    Those are the same consequences that made Bush and Obama pursue other avenues.
