Iran turned off the internet3 months ago; not the sign of a country that is "winning"

They're not losing, either. They continue to hold all of their territory, their army is intact, and the regime's grip on the country is tighter than ever, thanks to the Turd. Economic issues don't matter to a dictatorship--the ordinary people starve, but the leaders still get taken care of.

But here's where they are indeed winning: the entire world absolutely hates their opponents, the US and Israel. The Fucking Turd and Bibi are being justly blamed for worldwide economic disruptions and hardship. The world is sympathetic to Iran, which if you think about it, is amazing.

The Turd has lost. You've lost. MAGA has lost. The Republican party has lost. And all the idiot fucks who keep voting for Trump have lost.

Lost. Lost. Lost lost lost lost lost.

I always pray the UNited States wins.   I hope we do here despite the stupidity of starting it in the first place.

The real test is going to see what the final deal ends up looking like and how it compares to horrible, awful deal that the Obama Admnistration put in place that stopped the Iranian nuclear program.

Tom should be really worried because lots of his huge criticisms of the Obama deal look to be on the table in bigger measure with the ongoing settlement.....not the least of which is Iran having its sanctions released and opening the spigots to billions of dollars.     MAGA shit their pants when Obama let Iran access its own bank accounts overseas.....Trump is talking of allowing that plus additional recurring billions in oil revenues.

Thats just one example.    Start looking for ways to spin that one, Tom.      You're going to have to twist into a much bigger pretzel than the one you use to recocile you Golfing hypocrisy.

Maybe we need to define "winning" in the context of Twump's Widdle War.

What Trump wants: total control over Iran, including choosing its leaders. Confiscation of its energy assets. Eradication of its military. Armed occupation, indefinitely. Destruction of its nuclear program. And of course, rape camps set up all over Iran, because as Trump said, "Iranian teenage girls are kind of cute. How do you say "pussy" in Farsi?"

So, "winning" is: we get Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam...all over again. I can't see that ending well. And Trump won't get what he wants without taking them over completely, with the expected costs in blood and treasure.

But... AMURRICA!!!

It's not winnable without a full on invasion and long term occupation that would cost tens of thousands of American lives. That's unacceptable. As Bill Murray said in Wild Things sometimes you have to eat a shit sandwich and this is one of those times.  The war will only end within the next few months if we eat that shit sandwich and make concessions to Iran.

And Trump rightfully deserves all the blame for one of the greatest if not the greatest humiliation in US history.

What humiliation?

The goal was never to conquer Iran

However

Iran is no longer a nuclear threat.

Their military has no offensive capability

Their ballistic missile program is severly damaged

They are now isolated from every country in the Middle East.

Their air force and navy no longer exist

The chinese and russian air defenses don't work

Without any air defenses the US can bomb them at will if they act up

Their economy is a mess with 70% inflation and 20% unemployment

They don't have the resources to fund their terrorist allies.

We lost 1 plane and a few drones

But american liberals think iran is winning

The stated goals were regime change and to get the nuclear material. The purposed agreement only required Iran to discuss the matter at some point in the future and they get to keep their material.

The same regime is still in power and now has a tighter grip on the country. It's hard to win hearts and minds when your opening salvo killed 172 little girls and you prodced black rain that came down on the  population center. 

They still have 70% of their missiles.

A total of 42 aircraft were lost or suffered damage. When you only consume right-wing media you end up woefully uninformed.

Trump's going to let them sell their oil so they will have plenty of funds to do whatever they want. 

Their army and navy were never a threat so wiping them out, doesn't really matter.

If they aren't winning the war how come we are agreeing to their terms? If we were winning they would be agreeing to our terms. 

VietNam's economy, military, and leadership were all  in shambles after we invaded.     And by those metrics we won.    Congratulations.    Go 'Merica !

 When "we" won???     Were YOU in the military? If not, just where do you have the right to include yourself in your "we" won statement?   

By the same token Tom uses that word in this thread...which is to say US traxpayer.   If you that really gives you anxiety then I suggest you find yourself a safe space and curl into the fetal position.   

PS - Today on Memorial Day I honor all the veterans (living and dead) including my Grandfather who was wounded in the Battle of Bulge in WW2.....and my Father who had boots on the ground in Korea.    Thak you for your service.
