Kevin is wrong.....once again. The Census Bureau provides yearly data. They only do a physical census every tens yeas.

So yes, my one source is the United States Census Bureau, and apparantly that's not good enough for Kevin. For anyone who doesn't know who to believe, I suggest a 5 minute research project. Kevin is providing metro data, which shows a very minor increase in population, while I show Portland only data, which shows a 3.2% two year decrease. I encourage the curious reader to do your own research and the report back on who's telling the truth.
People are fleeing Portland because it sucks.
