400 Miles Per Gallon

Would be a really bad Vapor Lock

;*
Really guys???? Come on....Think.

Government and industrial conspiracies to suppress this and similar technological "breakthroughs" and "innovations"?
Well, there it is, right there on the internet. Must be true. Go ahead, give it a try.

I promise you that you are getting the best transportation you can get for your money, that can be mass produced. Even one off projects meticulously built by very smart individuals barely do better than what you can get commercially.

But there it is! Right there on the internet. Gotta be true.

Any technology or innovation that could/would increase the life span of our motor vehicles, and/or increase mileage may, or already has been suppressed by the automobile manufacturers buying up the patents, etc so they could continue to plan depreciation when manufacturing automobiles.

Neither industry has any interest in reducing their profits and benefit consumers by allowing something to reach the public that could/would reduce that industry's tremendous sales and humongous profits.

Okay, someone here is saying that this technology was made available in the 1970's, meaning that the patent expired about 20 years ago. Why haven't you or anyone else gone to the patent office, looked up all the technical files for free, and produce this technology. Because it doesn't freaking work, that's why!

This concept that folks are hiding technology what would make a car company TRILLIONS and TRILLIONS IN PROFITS is ludicrous.

When he turned it on it turned all of it into a clear white liquid that burned just like gasoline.
Ahhh, . . . SO.

And for his next trick, he found jatki99's three-of-spades.

Oh no sir, the guy I saw was definitely on the up and up, he was wearing a white lab coat and holding a clipboard. It was real alright.

People who believe that technology is being hidden are so so wrong.

I got a true conspiracy for you. A consortium of car and oil companies conspired to eliminate the electric trolleys in Los Angeles and other cities, and succeeded by buying them up and dismantling them. Of course that was over 50 years ago, and I haven't heard of another credible conspiracy of that sort since then. Maybe they're no longer evil.
There is a certain amount of energy in a certain amount of fuel. If it were possible to use that energy at 100% efficiency you could move a certain vehicle a certain distance. With variables such as weight, wind resistance, mechanical efficiency, road conditions, ect. you can go a certain number of miles and it aint 400. You just can't dictate your own physics.

You could do it if all 400 miles were downhill.
