Roscoe just giving little bro a head start this week. Look out now!~
Well...we lost the 6 weeks of football picks so far...but I managed to save the last update, so we can move forward.

Hopefully we won't lose any more. Both dogs are still tied, and we've got week 7 coming up!

Here it is ....

****Time for an update after week #6 ****

Both dogs ended their win streaks this past weekend

Blackjack too a poop first as he lost his UNDER bet on the Thursday night game

Roscoe could not take advantage of the loss, and also pooped out a loser with his Patriots pick.

The standings remain tied

1st place Roscoe with a record of 4-2

1st place Blackjack with a record of 4-2

Who will be the first pooch to blink, in this contest???

Tune in, and see for yourself!

Good luck on this weekends action boys.

I am kind of in a hurry. I have a bone to gnaw on and birds to chase out of the back yard. But I am making time to give everyone a $$$-making pick. Let's take the Buffalo Bills to beat the Tennessee Titans by more than 3 1/2. Buffalo is a mediocre 3-3, but if you look closely the Bills have been defeating the teams they are supposed to defeat (Arizona, Kansas City and Cleveland). Tennessee is another team that they are supposed to beat. The Titans are hardly road warriors -- 0-3 away from LP Stadium.

Good luck to Roscoe and everyone else who is following me to the cashier after Sunday's games!

OK...now that my brother has his pick in...make room for the 3-time weenie dog football champ to make his pick!

This weekend, I am taking a note from a previous pick from my brother B-J. He was dead on when he said that Arizona's offensive line was like a slice of swiss cheese....full of holes. Kolb got killed out there, and now they have a new quarterback starting and he is goint to get tired of picking himself up from the ground after every offensive play.

This week, I am gong with the Minnesota Vikings minus 6.5 points over the Arizona Cardinals.

Adrian Peterson is back on track, and Christian Ponder is showing some major promise.

This is going to be a BLOW OUT! Vikes win by at least a dozen...which reminds me...hey Blackjack...I am gonna need you to buy me a dozen gourmet cookie bones again this year buster. heh heh

Good luck to all those who are making these wagers.

Finally, the tie is broken...one of these weenie dogs, finally blinked!

****Time for an update after week #7 ****

Roscoe started a new win streak with his Vikings -6.5 pick over the Cardinals, which barely covered by a half point

Blackjack poop his 2nd loss in a row as he lost his Bills -3.5 buck over the Titans, when the Titans came back and won that game, late in the 4th quarter!

Roscoe took advantage of the loss, and reclaims the first place spot all by himself

The standings after week 7 are:

1st place Roscoe with a record of 5-2

1st place Blackjack with a record of 4-3

Good luck on this coming weekends action boys.

Had it been "Bring Your Dog to the Game" day and I were at Ralph Wilson Stadium, I would have run onto the field and bit Ryan Fitzpatrick on the ankle for throwing an interception with less than two minutes to play and a six-point lead.
Go Black Jack your year for the cookies.
Since I am the head pooch right now, I guess I'll have to be the first to shoot out a pick this weekend.

This week, I am taking the New England Patriots minus 7 points over the lowly St Louis Rams.

The Patriots are done "experimenting" and now they are going to go back to scoring mega points, quick. Back to what they know works. Brady is an awesome quarterback, and he has many weapons at his disposal. The Rams started the season ok, but they are now back to the old Rams that everyone knows sucks major wind!

This is going to be a monster blow out....I'd take this pick, even if the spread was 14!!

Easy money this week folks...lay the seven with the Pats, and go collect your money.

Best of luck to everyone who is making this weenie wager this weekend! Good luck to brother Blackjack too!

It's time for the lock of the week pick. I, too, am going with a heavy favorite.

Green Bay is going to polish off Jacksonville by more than 14 1/2 points. I waited to see if the line would drop to 14, but we are getting close to 5 p.m. and I have a bone behind the sofa to gnaw.

Jacksonville is 1-5 and stinking up the place. The Jaguars are 32nd in the NFL in offense (tell everyone how many teams are in the league, Roscoe) and that was WITH Maurice Jones-Drew, who is now out indefinitely. And it is not like Jacksonville is getting the job done with its defense, ranked No. 28. This is a bad, bad team and they don't even have Jack Del Rio to blame.

Green Bay gets its high-powered machine in overdrive Sunday with Aaron Rodgers putting up gawdy, 2011-like statistics this week.

Good luck, everyone. ... Even Roscoe.
