I believe blacks should receive extra scrutiny due to facts about their performance and actions...
The same justification could and has been used to block some people from jobs, neighborhoods and schools - by disgraceful people who are dying out and being replaced by much better citizens. Which is very good for America.

"African Americans lack equal access to highly effective teachers and principals, safe schools, and challenging college-preparatory classes, and they disproportionately experience school discipline and referrals to special education. African American student achievement not only lags behind that of their domestic peers by an average of two grade levels, but also behind students in almost every other developed nation. Over a third of African American students do not graduate from high school on time with a regular high school diploma, and only four percent of African American high school graduates interested in college are college-ready across a range of subjects. An even greater number of African American males do not graduate with a regular high school diploma, and African American males also experience disparate rates of incarceration."

Those statements are straight out of ObeyMe's Presidential Executive Order 13621. The solutions put forth by that order involve more government intervention into the lives of black people. More layers of government bureaucrats, and of course, more money. Parental involvement and family structure are all but ignored as being a part of the problems and part of the solutions. ObeyMe believes his government is better equipped to motivate a specific group of people, based solely on skin color, than the people who actually exist within that specific group. That is racist...in the worst way...committed by Presidential Executive Order. That's only one reason why ObeyMe is the worst President, and not just since WW II.

Just an FYI here, the same has been said since I was a kid (more than 40 years ago) and yet all they have done is make things worse. Dropout rates have gone up since the 1970's, as the number of births to unmarried women, and the number of crimes committed by blacks. We get the same crap, we need more money for the poor kids and yet we have thrown away how many billions of dollars and to date, not a damn thing has gotten better.
Things will never get better til people are held accountable for their actions. Enough of the lame excuses.

None needed in some peoples eyes why they already know. They can even determine it w/o ever meeting or knowing the person. If someone has some right leaning views and is white, then by golly they'are racist for sure(oh, and filled with hate). It's truly an amazing feat.

Our last two presidents ranked substantially worse than the only one to resign in disgrace? 16 years of crappy presidents? We need a turnaround guy.
Indeed, prior to the first election of The Obama folks on this Forum discussed the relative experience of the potential candidates in both major parties; The Obama was pretty well recognized to possess the least experience. Elections have consequences.
What with turning Egypt from a Soviet Ally to an US ally, . . . and responsibility for the eventual peace treaties between Israel and Egypt and Jordan, . . . and, especially the negotiation of the petrodollar with Saudi Arabia President Nixon and Secretary of State Kissinger actually accomplished a lot for the United States. It is quite likely all of the benefits of these accomplishments will be gone before The Obama leaves office.

Elections do have consequences. The candidate DonDiego voted for in 2009 promised a continued blank check and troop commitment to both Iraq and Afghanistan until "victory" was achieved. Since that election That same candidate has weighed in hawkishly and demanded US military action in every geographic area of strife : Libya, Syria, Iran, Ukraine, Iraq.

No president has an unblemished record... But I think the legacy of the current one will be pretty well remembered....killing Bin Laden, ending an unpopular war, leading the country out of the worst recession in 100 years, ending discrimination against the sick, and cutting the deficit by more than 2/3 ....and all of this with no help of any kind from the opposing party who not only did not participate but actually tried to shut down the government.

Democrats did not like Ronald Reagan but Tip O'Neil made the effort to find common ground. The current House Speaker says success for him is defined by how much he does NOT do. Those are his words. And he has the least effective Congress in History to prove it

Truer words were never written. I totally agree. I sure wish people, all people, would learn at an early age that actions have consequences. Unfortunately we keep making excuses for people and I'm not just talking about Blacks.

It seems to me now a days we have an illness or a cop out for everything under the sun. Nobody is just lazy or unmotivated, nobody is just an asshole, nope they don't have the same opportunities or they have an illness.

I'll be the first to admit some people really do have a problem but I'm willing to bet that most losers that mooch off of the rest of us are just not willing to put out the effort it takes to get ahead or do the right thing.

Given the easy path or the hard path 99% of people will take the easy one if we let them. Hell I know at least six successful white people who are making over 100k a year and they just walked away from their homes because it had lost value. Now they brag about how much better their new home is and it cost less money.

Yep Doc you said it all we need to go back to making ALL people accountable for their actions.

I know and my apologies, it was the first thing that popped into my head.

No president has an unblemished record... But I think the legacy of the current one will be pretty well remembered... For the most games of golf and most fundraising dinners

.killing Bin Laden, - replaced by numerous other groups
ending an unpopular war, - we are seeing the results of his early withdrawal

leading the country out of the worst recession in 100 years, - I suspect the Great Depression was a tad worse. GDP went down 1.9% last qtr

ending discrimination against the sick, -all that was done was to create the most confusing law in history. Remember everybody was supposed to be covered and we would save $2,500 each

and cutting the deficit by more than 2/3 - after he drove it up to record levels

...and all of this with no help of any kind from the opposing party - there are over 100 bills from the House that Reid won't take up for a vote.

who not only did not participate but actually tried to shut down the government- because he refused to negotiate

We are left with the slowest recession recovery, record low labor participation rate, record number of people on food stamps, record number of people living below the poverty line an aggressive Russia, an Iranian nuclear bomb and personal income dropping

Especially those who are born into the middle class, and with all their opportunities, never rise above the middle class. What losers.

Can you imagine; being born into a the middle class with financial security, good schools, two parent families, food on the table, safe streets, strong role models, and opportunities to attend college and beyond...and then just ending up no higher than the middle class? What ever happened to pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps?

Or maybe, just maybe, rising from poverty to the middle class takes as much fortitude, luck, and ability as going from the middle class to wealth. And many of those who think of poor people as irresponsible losers could just as easily be talking about themselves.
