Ben Affleck Banned From Hard Rock

Yeah...I'm gonna assume when Affleck plays a pit boss is always watching.
Jeez Louise. Affleck didn't kick a homeless person. He doesn't deserve to be vilified for getting banned from BJ at the Hard Rock. If he was making $10k bets he must have had >$100k on the table. I'm sure there are people watching anyone with that level of money in play. Wouldn't surprise me if Ben was just having some fun and knew he'd get banned.

Agnes in my mind he is a false god, a few years ago he tipped the dealers $100,000 and I thought what a nice guy, now I think it was just hush money. He is now a dick in my mind. Not for counting cards but for using people, and his stature. JMO

Are you one of the dealers who received a $100,000 tip but now you feel used? I love it when people judge others based on nothing but speculation.

I'm speculating (because I will never actually know) that said dealers feel quite kindly toward Mr. Affleck.
Can anyone tell me why the casino, (in order to attract action) Offers such a large, unnatural spread, then complains when such action does not work out in the way the casino planned...oohhh ..somebody is winning...we better BAN him.

Dumb idiots running blackjack, OR some completely other motive for this news about Affleck.

Maybe Affleck and his movie people just wanted to create some free publicity for his new upcoming movie. They then they make a private deal with the casino to "ban" him and therefore create a huge media presence. The FREE publicity he got the last number of days would be in the billions if he had to pay for it.

Farfetched? or can the casino people be that dumb...Letting him buy in for , at least over $10,000.00 and then allowing him to bet only $10 min.

Makes you wonder what really goes on.

Yes they loved him no doubt, you are making my point, really only people that understand how much you can make(I am talking millions easy with that spread 10000 to 1) I repeat easy, when the count is in your favor. Come on they made a movie of people that would count and then SOMEONE ELSE WOULD BET HIGH, not the same fucking guy!!!!! jeez it is simple math. Like taking candy from a baby if no one stops them. Speculation, no simple third grade math. If you do not understand you do not understand, leave it at that.

I understand the math and don't begrudge the casino from stopping him from playing. But I don't think Affleck is a dick for doing what he did. I think he had his reasons for doing what he did and getting banned and that he fully knew his spread would get him banned. Maybe he wanted publicity as mentioned above or maybe he wanted to be known as a banned card counter to establish some street cred or to win a side bet with someone.

If he wanted some publicity or street cred, he should have just kicked a homeless person....like that 'Kick me in the nuts' guy.

the article I read said he wasn't kicked out; just told no more BJ.

Did Jennifer tell him that
Wonder if other casinos will welcome him to come play BJ in their casinos?

Wonder how Jennifer made him smile again?

I'm not a Black Jack player . I do know the basics . I thought that card counting was nearly impossible to do these days what with continuous shuffling and multiple decks ... Bob
