QuoteYou make an excellent point. If it wasn't for the tremendous utility that pressure cookers, ball bearings, and nails provide to society, and the incredible rarity of their use in killing people, I'd be on board with a ban, definitely.

Maybe it's time we consider outlawing pressure cookers, ball bearings and nails.

Let's talk in a year and see how many Americans were killed by bombs made from pressure cookers, ball bearings and nails.
I mean, we're already in late April and we've already got three dead from such bombs. That compares to a paltry 3,474 dead from guns in the four months since Newtown. Why, the carnage from these bombs is nearly 1/1000th what guns have caused! When will it end?
Good thinking, alanleroyII!
QuoteExcept that you either deliberately or unwittingly repeated a central theme of the pro-gun crowd, which is that maybe the other side ought to try to outlaw knives and cars and other things that kill people.

Thank you. It's good to see you still don't get sarcasm...
