Equality

Thats rich. I'm curious how you came to your conclusion about whites being better workers than blacks if not on the basis of a "grand assumption". Does your company provide a statistical chart of productivity by race? Or is that a personal observation based on a grand assumption? Do tell.

While I'm completely ignorant of BM's observations/assertions, so I'm not endorsing or condoning(how could I?), I am pretty certain evryone of us has had a job and could quickly identify those who "work" and the slackers. I know I sure as shit have.

Me too. But I identify slackers based upon their work ethic...not by the color of their skin. I'm kinda funny that way.
I always thought it was strange successful conservatives like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage and on and on choose to make their homes in very liberal areas. It is almost like they can’t stand to be around other conservatives or conservative culture. You would think they would want to live in places like Alabama, Mississippi and South Carolina, but no they choose to live in the most liberal areas of the county New York, Palm Beach, and San Francisco.

Nope. Very wealthy people want to live where there is great culture, great universities, great entertainment, great dining, and intelligent, diverse neighbors. And all of that wealth creates jobs for the lower classes.

Not too many rich people choose to spend their time in flyover country.

Well of course you don't, but in the end , you have to absolutely have to admit that you are aware of the color of a persons skin...,or nationality..., or...whatever. Perhaps the "slackers"are actually a mix of those, BUT, you surely would know what that group was made up of.

I have to chuckle whenever I hear about those rich , overpaid , CEO's . CEO's busted their ass to get where they are . Most , if not all, have given up there outside lives , hobbies, relationships with there children and wives . They get to work 12 to 16 hours a day , six or seven days a week , and have done it the whole ride to the top . It is a brutal , and rewarding lifestyle . That's why the get paid the huge sums of money .
They absolutely should get paid many more times what the average worker does .
Everyone has the potential to become a CEO or at least make a very good living in the business world . Then there are those who are jealous or feel cheated because they don't make 10 million a year . They would rather hide under the cloak of income inequality than look in the mirror and realize that they are either to lazy or not intelligent enough to succeed . Bob
I never hear how much the multiple of pay between the average worker and Beyoncé or Oprah or Leonardo DiCaprio. I wonder why that is?
More yes but, 331 times as much don't you think that is a bit much? If they hadn't rigged the game in their favor I might find more merit in your argument. And there are simply not enough positions to give everyone a CEO or company executive job even for people that bust their ass.

But those stars participate in a sustainable business model, conform to our laws, and enrich those around them - a lot of them union members.

But virtually our entire financial sector doesn't even exist today without taxpayer bailouts. Even Goldman Sachs wouldn't have survived without the bailout of AEI. And they made billions while virtually destroying the world economy.

HSBC admitted to illegally laundering funds, including those of international terrorists. Bank of America admitted to illegally foreclosing on homeowners. And remember those seven tobacco company executives who swore before Congress that tobacco wasn't addictive. How many children lost their parents and grandparents over that lie. Boy howdy, they earned their money, didn't they?

Intuit (TurboTax) is spending millions to lobby Congress to keep our tax forms from being simplified. Big Pharma got the Republicans to pass a law preventing Medicare from negotiating lower drug prices. Those hardworking heirs of Sam Walton are making billions off of customer food stamps, many of which come from their own employees. And even Apple, Microsoft, and others have been caught fixing the wages of their most talented engineers.

And under Carly Fiorina, HP's values declined, they had massive layoffs, and upon her firing she received a $40 million golden parachute. Then she received the Republican nomination for the US Senate in California, and then went to work for FOX. Of course.

The CEOs of companies that behave like that deserve our contempt, not a raise, and I have no problem taxing excessive executive compensation until they start behaving like good American citizens. So let me know when Beyonce, Oprah, or Leonardo take part in victimizing Americans, breaking our laws, surviving due to taxpayer funds, and destroying our economy. Then we can continue this chit-chat.
Each day I deal with purchasing, customer service, logistics, and operations. PJ can't work with people for years and decide which workers are best? Wow, how would you ever grade subordinates?

I for one don't need a study or computer printout. Possibly I'm exceptional, however.
