I had a delightful conversation with a health Insurance company rep this morning

"You can judge the success of the law simply by counting the number of times Hoops changes the goal posts for measuring its success. I think we're over 100 times now"

obama is the one moving the goalposts (37 times) & the original premise of the law was to insure the uninsured and reduce premiums, which hasn't happened.

obama said he wanted 7 million & 30+% young. I among others have pointed out that you don't get to 7m until they all paid. We have not seen any evidence that 7m have paid or what the age demos are

I've always said that once a giveaway starts, it never goes away. I've claimed that Obamacare will be a bust, and there will be far greater wealth transfer to pay for dramatically more costs than promised.

When Nick can keep his doctor and plan and save money, then Obamacare happened as promised.

50 years from now there will be no free medicine except from private charity. There will be little social security. Medicare and medicade will be virtually non-existent. There will be very high unemployment and poverty...
Yeah, that'll teach America for not listening to you!

Since you've finally realized that Obamacare is here to stay, that means your Denial Stage* is over, and you're moving into the Anger Stage. malibber is a bit more evolved than you; he's already reached Depression.

Dude, just steer clear of metaphors if you don't understand them.

Yes, the President called audibles - legally! - a whole bunch of times. And did you see yesterday when he spiked the ball...and that end zone dance? Game over.

The expenses increase the corporate taxable income for the company, thus the company pays more taxes, which Liberals love.

Actually it decreases their taxable income since the companies get to deduct these expenses.

I would favor a flat tax on wealth after a set per adult deduction (no deduction for children).

How old are you, Dude?

The Rand Corporation says you are wrong.

Actually forky is wrong

A new study from the RAND Corporation indicates that only one-third of exchange sign-ups were previously uninsured.

The RAND study hasn’t yet been published, but its contents were made available to Noam Levey of the Los Angeles Times. RAND also estimates that 9 million individuals have purchased health plans directly from insurers, outside of the exchanges, but that “the vast majority of these people were previously insured.

The RAND report appears to corroborate the work of other surveys. Earlier this month, McKinsey reported that 27 percent of those signing up for coverage on the individual market were previously uninsured.

What’s important to remember is that this is not how Obamacare was supposed to work. The Congressional Budget Office, in its original estimates, predicted that the vast majority of the people eligible for subsidies on the exchanges would be previously uninsured individuals.
Obama told us the biggest whopper of a lie when he said............It's gonna save us $2500 per family. Not a flying chance in Hell.

Chilly and Forkie don't care about the cost, as they're confident in Obama's ability to increase the wealth transfer so the great majority of Obama voters will be subsidized by others. Also, Chilly and Forkie apparently don't worry about the national debt.

Here's what Noam Levey wrote:

"As the law's initial enrollment period closes, at least 9.5 million previously uninsured people have gained coverage. Some have done so through marketplaces created by the law, some through other private insurance and others through Medicaid, which has expanded under the law in about half the states."
