"X" a/k/a The Harrah's Rincon million $$ drawings

Karen, my error. I thought that the guy did. After all lhe has a prominent column here.

And interesting column today, Jan 8, about the promotion he played in with the clearly negative game at the Riv.

Yes, I did put forward for discussion and consideration.

There you have it. It is not a requirement for a word to use all forms of its meaning to use it for one.

Okay. We disagree. Have a nice day.

Did you agree to disagree?

First of the monthly $100,000 drawings is coming up this Saturday Jan 26. I reviewed the "fine print" and it even increases the chances for an advantage player to increase chances of winning and the amount that could be won on Saturday. The key is being at the casino early in the day to "activate" the entries by swiping your total rewards card. This is an advantage that many day trippers and casual players will not have unless they are prepared to camp out at the casino all day or take a room. the fine print will eliminate day trippers and casual players who fail to activate their entries which means all their play during the month was worthless for the contest. I posted this same information wherever I could including the facebook pages for Total Rewards and Rincon because it is important that everybody knows about this "fine print" rule.
"Fine print" another way of saying that we will rip you off unless you are able to read and comprehend all of the ways we can screw you out of a chance to win- and then you must do some additional thing to qualify for an offer you were led to believe you had already qualified for.
I said all along that high roller advantaged players would have the big edge and this "fine print" really solidifies it for the high roller advantage players. It knocks out a lot of the local players, day trippers and bus customers even if they did play there exclusively on tuesdays and poured in a lot of money -- unless the day trippers, locals and bus customers can get there early enough on Saturday and stay through till 11pm. I know that I can't. At best I will have to drive there early in the morning, come back to LA and return to Rincon before the 11pm drawing. And the high rollers? Well, they can enjoy the day there... I have to work.
What is the "time slot" for customers to activate their entries for the drawings?

I think you are overstating it a little. If you come late you only miss the earlier drawings. You still qualify for all the drawings after you arrive and the main drawing.

Arch.....

Are you saying that the information reported by Money LA (about activating drawing entries early in the day) may be/is inaccurate and misleading?

Are you saying that someone who only wants to be there (with activated entries) for the "big" drawing at 11:00 PM may be able to activate their entries for the drawing if they arrive at, say about 10PM or so?
