The Second Wave

Now that obama is president & with the election next week not a word even though the largest city in the country is crippled, Manhattan below 34st is without power & the businesses down there haven't opened in a week, entire towns on the Jersey shore are gone & millions are without power

Fema is once again useless, power generators aren't being delivered, there is no gas and temperatures are near freezing.

Meanwhile obama is off campaigning
The governor of New Jersey, who incidentally was the keynote speaker at the 2012 Republican National Convention, disagrees with your assessment of the current situation.

You are right about the huge difference in how each administration handled their respective disasters. Of course you're 180 degrees off reality.

The looters could hone in on those generators being used for the marathon.
This news is certain to disappoint DonDiego:

"Despite huge power cuts as a result of flooding and wind, looting and other crime have been kept low, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said. Kelly said Thursday he was only aware of two incidents: 18 people who broke into a food store on Coney Island and two people arrested for robbery during another incident on Staten Island. The key, the police chief said, was to establish a robust presence on the streets."

These days, I think the operable phrase is, "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help!"

Holy Moly! DonDiego is famous ! ! !

Which statement is not true? Temperature today is in the low 40's, there are areas that have not had food for several days & power is still out for millions

You want to keep messing around. Nobody is buying your bullshit, everyone saw how each administration handled things, your silliness changes nothing.

"Nobody is buying your bullshit, "

An example of why these discussions wind up getting banned. All I asked was for you to show me where my statement was wrong and you respond with vulgarity
Good point hoops and I agree

Oh no, I've offended you. Sorry about the "vulgarity".

No thread has been deleted because the word bullshit was used. They do get deleted when people turn them political, like you did in this thread.

Regarding how the two Presidential administrations handled their respective disasters, you and jatki99 think Dubya nailed it and Obama botched it. I disagree and think history proves my point. It's pretty obvious by the White House website front pages what each Presidents priorities were.

You think the candidates should both stop their campaigns, both candidates disagree with you. I'll bet you're voting for one of them anyway.
