Street "Performers" and Water "Sellers"

alanleroyII & treegirl- bottom line, I am tired of having to walk the gauntlet of the unsavory, unwashed "entertainers" who proliferate the streets and sidewalks of Vegas. If you call their presence "entertainment", so be it. I would like to know how you would feel if you had a business that had such"entertainers" located at your entrance. What would you do if these "entertainers" were having a negative effect on your business and your customers voiced their reluctance to do business with you because they were not willing to walk a gauntlet passing thru a group of "entertainers"? Free speech? What about my rights and the rights of businesses to speak their view about having to deal with these "entertainers"? If these "entertainers" were really interested in earning money, then they can get a job and pay their fair share of taxes and social security.
I hate having to look at the sky and see all these airplanes and helicopters, making noise, blocking my view, going hither and yon, their propellers slicing through my precious, precious air.

I hate having to look out at the sea and see all these dirty boats and ships, bobbing up and down, carrying goods I don't want, manned by foreigners who don't even speak English, causing ugly waves in my beautiful, beautiful ocean.

It's so easy to get angry at everything, all you have to do is try.

But of course I LOVE people lol.
DrMiller, Liberals don't care if another's life if ruined.............they only care about themselves. I believe that responsible folks should be protected, or better yet, be allowed to protect themselves from the irresponsible people.

People have been performing in public for gratuities since the days of antiquity.

You should probably just stay home from now on, Doc. If harmless street performers have you this upset, there's a lot of truly bad things out there that you won't to be able to handle.

I like the buskers and I'm going to make a special effort to give them plenty of tips in your honor when I return to Vegas in December.

Why do you hate the Constitution?
Sorry the diaper man we seen on Fremont street needs to change that diaper and tone up some. He was way to aged to wear that costume.

Oh come on. That wasn't Diaper Man. It was Cupid.

There's actually a health condition that can cause people not to detect sarcasm. You might want to get that checked out.

Well one has to admit they at times do clog the walkways and cause a lot of pedestrian congestion.

This past May while walking in front of the Bellago Fountains at night we were at a standstill,
trying to inch our way north along the Strip, while some 12 year old (I'm guessing) did a Michael Jackson impersonation with a boombox.

Rick
Liberals are very comfortable with folks ruining other folks standard of living, just as long is it's not their standard of living. Would Forkie and Chilly complain if a bunch of homeless people decided to set up shop on the sidewalk next to their homes, banging oil cans, pots, and other stuff claiming to create music? Yep, they would complain, but only if it was on their doorstep. On you doorstep, that's protected speech.
