I think the only way to solve these problems is to educate the voters.
Any ideas on how and if that will ever happen?
Consumer Reports magazine?

That article says the only way to lower your premiums is to go somewhere other than heathcare.gov.
Oh dear, I'm going to have to ask BobOrme a question he really doesn't want to answer:

Hey dude, just where does Consumer Reports Magazine say is the BEST place to buy coverage on your own?

Not healthcare.gov

More pressure to keep quiet about Obamacare coming from the White House.

CNN: Insurance Companies told to keep their mouths shut!
When they had that big pow wow a week or so ago I knew something was going down.

Well there's a NOT answer!
A true cancellation is when someone gets a letter saying that the insurance is being ended early and can't be renewed. This was common practice in the individual insurance market for people with expensive conditions. Under the new law, no one will ever get a letter like that again. They cannot be turned down for insurance for a health-related reason.

The so-called cancellation letters currently fixating the small slice of people who have no solutions for the problems America elected this President to fix were simply notices that policies would have to be upgraded or changed. Some of those old policies were so full of holes that they didn’t include hospitalization, or maternity care, or coverage of other serious conditions. They were called "insurance", but didn't really insure.

That said, I am glad that the looney right is being occupied by something this inocuous. Keeps them from their true passions, those of course being mixing up fertilizer bombs and sewing white sheets into robes.
Stay classy troll

"A true cancellation is when someone gets a letter saying that the insurance is being ended early and can't be renewed. "- chilly using the liberal trick of parsing words. If something is not renewed it is cancelled, doesn't matter when. The letters being sent out use the word cenacelled

"The so-called cancellation letters currently fixating the small slice of people who have no solutions for the problems America elected this President to fix were simply notices that policies would have to be upgraded or changed." - Not true Polls have consistently shown that almost 60% of people don't like this law that was passed in the dead of night. If people knew that their policies would be cancelled obama would have lost the election

"Some of those old policies were so full of holes that they didn’t include hospitalization, or maternity care, or coverage of other serious conditions. They were called "insurance", but didn't really insure. "

Aparently chilly has reviewed the millions of policies that were cancelled and knows that they were inadequate. obama's current definition of inadequate insurance is now insurance that doesn't cover what he deems to be worthwhile; no matter what the citizens say or want. The govt knows all. but can't run a website that they had almost 4 years to put together

I found it amusing that while sebillius was testifying the website crashed

Any policy that was cancelled was done by the voluntary decision of the Insurance Company - not a mandated requirement from the government.

So the only question remaining is the costs of the new plans replacing them. We'll have the statistical data by March. SO far Sean Hannity and Neil Cavuto haven't found any real life anecdotes of this happening...so they've resorted to fabricating some.
I don't know about you, but I trust Consumer Reports!

"I’ve heard from many readers who say their health insurance premiums are going through the roof because of the new health law, and they’re having their doubts about the “affordable” part of the Affordable Care Act.

But when they’ve given me enough information to look into their situation, in almost every case it turns out they’re upset over nothing—because their health costs are not going up after allft>. They just haven’t been able to find their way to the right information." - Consumer Reports
