There you go conservatives: Obamacare is failing

"If his income were to fall below four times the federal poverty level, or about $62,000 for a family of two, he would qualify for subsidies that could lower his premium cost to as low as zero. If he makes even one dollar more, he gets nothing.
That’s what he’s leaning toward — lowering his salary or shifting more money toward a retirement account and applying for a subsidy."

Yeah, . . . that's the ticket, . . . game the system. Have the taxpayer pick up some of the fees.
DonDiego wonders if such tactics will occur to others...
Do they know Mitt Romney's accountants?

It's legal. I'll might debate the ethics of their move with someone who also condemns the off-shore tax avoidance scams of the super rich. Not with you.

Obamacare by Morning

Yes, your claim about what Obama said is a lie. Unless you can come up with a source. Which you can't. So it is a lie.

Yes, Senator Obama did indeed pledge back in 2007 and 2008 that, if elected, he would enact health reform that would reduce the average annual family premium by $2,500. Which we've known, since ACA became law a few years ago, would not likely occur when it finally takes full effect.

What's (kinda) amazing is that there are apparently still people willing to feign surprise that the ACA is not identical to the health reform that Senator Obama pledged to enact when he became President.

They have a point, of course. It became more Rebublican-ny. What's funny is that they pretend they're mad about how it's not as good as it could have been. lol
A lot of knots in that chilly pretzel.

obama on the video repeatedly said it would happen during his first term. We are now in the 2nd term and the costs are still going up
If Obamacare is so "Replublican-y", why did no Republicans vote for it?

I'm sure so much was changed to please the Republicans that none of them chose to vote for it.

Compromise we can believe in.....

I accept that not all of us can remember way back to 2009 and 2010 and the numerous compromises this President and his allies in Congress made to appease Republican demands.

Heck, jphelan can't even remember to keep pretending to have me on ignore. How can we expect him to remember anything!
