Dude, in 2010 the administration said "40 to 67 percent of individual policies will lose their grandfathered status in 2011."

I think 2010 was two years before the re-election. So much for that conspiracy theory, huh?

So what was with the REPEATED promise of "if you like your current plan....can keep it, PERIOD!" nonsense, a little misdeirection, see if anyone was paying attention? That really is disingenuous in this instance forkie.

I wonder why rdwoodpecker hasn't convinced the Congressional Budget Office that we can't afford Obamacare. They keep saying it'll save us money, $109 billion over the next ten years.

But what do they know, they're only the Congressional Budget office, staffed with professional economists, budget and financial analysts, mathmaticians and the like.

He's rdwoodpecker for gosh sake!

Oh and they (budget office) have ALWAYS been correct. Time is going to tell the story. I don't have any idea nor do I care about YOUR insurance but I do mine. And yes mine is going up and not just a small margin. Out of pocket, well my current policy that is $2000. Doctor visit cost me a whopping $20. YOU think you know all about this new "law" but it is appearing their are many many things you and your pal had no idea about!

like I stated time is going to tell the story!

Roulette Man just doesn't get it.

I guess he didn't figure that someone paying $650 a year for junk insurance - a policy that would pay $1,000 toward a $120,000 operation for example - would actually "like" it. I mean jatki, you're too smart to "like" that kind of insurance, aren't you?

And of course the woman in that CBS story is now saying that Obamacare could be a blessing in disguise.

You are trying misdirection(shocker) here. Answer this then, why didn't the pres. say, nay, PROMISEon a repeated basis, If yuo like your planyou can keep you plan PERIOD,unless we deem it not good enough for you to like then you'll get cancelled and then must enter the govt run exchanges to shop for a plan that may or may not be more expensive, but ,HEY, we(the govt.) deem it "likable". At least he would've been more forthright with the whole deal, wouldn't you agree forkie? I'm certain you won't and come up some odd deflection, misdirection answer to this.

BTW concerning you CBS breaking news flash there, I', sure that's not an isolated case at all, BUT for each feel good staory on the ACA, how many horror story's are there? My guess is there's A WOLE LOT more folks unhappy than are pleased with the law.

But are the horror story's credible? I don't think you care, as long as they back up your political outlook. According to Consumer Reports, the number one reason for premium increases is that "your existing plan might be a terrible one that deserves to die."

To be fair, their number four reason is that "you were getting an extra-good deal in the first place." And those who were getting extra good deals from health insurance companies will pay more. Both of them.

So you abandoned the whole defense of O's promise about keeping your plan then? Are we just now gonna file that with your opinion that I'd be dead if not for some fictional govt assistance you claim I received?

"Collective" would be the context of any Federal Government policy or endeavor. Example: That's why we sent the US army over to kill Sadam Hussein instead of Don Diego and Dick Cheney doing it individually.

The new healthcare law is also a collective policy. SO we can judge it based upon its overall effectiveness for the overall population...or we can judge it based upon a story we heard from our cousin's girlfriend's brother's former roommate.

jatki, without big government regulations that keep insurance companies from cancelling individuals on group policies, I'm sure your health insurance would have been cancelled a few million dollars ago.

Maybe next month the ghost of Christmas future will pay you a visit, and show you where you would be with conservative, unfettered capitalism, laws.

OK, whatever, I'm not gonna get into a forkie/roulette man seventh grade bickering match, it's an exercise in futility trying to have an intelligent conversation with seventh grade misdirection.

Keep talikng all ya want, knock yourself out, I'm done. Unless you ever want to say something that has relevance and hints at intelligence, I'll be around.

Actually I'm embarrassed for myself I've let myself get dragged down to this level
