You kind of hinted its the latter, so I'm guessing it excluded "options" like hospitalization, prescription drugs, and "making albeadle33 better".
Sorry, I don't believe you had anything that could fairly be considered "health insurance", and I have to call you on it.

I'm in my late 50's, unmarried, and am retired with around $40,000 in income. My previous policy with Anthem BC was cancelled because it in no way met the Obamacare minimums, like pre-existing condition coverage, and such needed coverages for an old single man like maternity and pediatric care. I had been paying $287/mo. with a $1000 deductible and 30% copays.

That must be the typical Team Obama assertion in these days of massive humiliation for the president. Yes, I was paying under $300/mo. for the past 8-1/2 years. It paid for my knee operation last year, and for the painkillers during healing afterwards. It was a normal policy. I had no pre-existing conditions when it started. Now these idiots are forcing me to dig into money saved for advanced years just to pay the premiums and stupid deductibles that you never hear that dumbass lying president mention a word of. So please Chil, please explain why he or that incompetent Sebelius ever talk about all those rising deductibles.
