If he was reaching for the knife then it would be a case for self defense. Waiting for all the evidence is usually best instead of the liberal automatic  pre judging. 

At the time of the video nobody knew what happened & there were a number of people with guns. Yesterday they found people from Seattle with weapons & gas cans. 

Pj continues to ignore the larger issue of thousands of blacks being killed by other blacks. Where was PJ's outrage when a black man in St. Louis was murdered & his killer livestreamed his last moments?

Almost nobody is unaware of black on black crime.  Drugs, poverty, gangs.  Lots of it, we know.

What makes police action against a perpetrator a higher level of intolerability is the uniform, the institutional authority with questionable accountability, the 'permission' by proxy (the badge) to do anything to anybody as long as wearing the uniform.

It isn't even close to "thousands of blacks being killed by other blacks."   That a white cop had "permission by proxy" to shoot a black perpetrator; whether determined after all the investigation is completed to be 'justified', it will never be 'justified' in the black community.  Never.  

Don't flee police when ordered not to and you will not be beat up or shot.  It's a simple concept.  A 40 year cop veteran friend told me that the cops should have tackled this guy prior to him ever trying to get into the car.  Of course, Liberals would have whined about this, which makes this proactive action likely punative.  So once he appears to reach under the seat he gets shot.

Thousands and thousands of black men are murdered each year and ten are by police.  Liberals spend 99.9% of their energy on 0.01% of the problem.  What a waste of tima and energy.  How about the same energy on the other black deaths and actually making a statistical differece?  Solve every cop murder and it won't make a statistical difference in the black murder rate..................yet Liberals will feel good about themselves while accomplishing nothing.

Liberals are unwilling to place most the culpability on the black community where it belongs.

No - conservatives want to deny the systemic racism that pervades law enforcement accross the entire country which is why they want to talk about black-on-black crime any time the former is caught on camera.

Our prisons are full of black people for using (not dealing) the same drugs 2 of our last 3 presidents are on record using.     National Statistics show black people get sentenced to a higher degree than do white people who commit the same crimes.     The investigation of Ferguson (which conservatives call a witch hunt) revealed the police department was targeting black people for years for petty traffic violations and shaking them down for money - (at a massively disproportionate rate as whites).    And the infamous stop-n-frisk policy of NY was almost exclusively targeted at the black community.    This is a very partial list.    And the Tucker Carlson crowd doesn't want to acknowledge it because they largely are cool with it.   Fine.   See you at the polls

Because of the black crime rate, black men come into contact with cops at a much higher rate than whites do.  Whites are likely killed at a higher rate per interaction.  Shit PJ, you really think Libs should spend 99% of your energy on 0.01% of the problem?  7500 black men were murdered last year, yet no Liberal attention. MAYBE ten killed by police, and 99% of the energy goes here.  How stupid and rasicst of Libs.

And I'm aware of the systemic racism that goes beyond homicides in the police departments as already addressed...and you've given those statisitcs your blessing.
