Yes, he did. You have to remember Trump fires everybody in his administration that delivers bad news or tells him he can't do something. All that is left are a bunch of toadies. None of his advisers wanted to tell him how bad it was because Trump's ego didn't want to hear that. He didn't do shit. All he did was proclaim it was a hoax, fake news and claim he wasn't worried about it because warm weather was going to take care of it. The guy didn't even know the flu killed people.
Really? Keep your eyes and ears glued to CNN, the Washington Post and all of the other lying, fact twisting media outlets - for they would rather lie even if telling the truth was easier.

It's pretty difficult to discuss this situation without mentioning the "negatives," but I have pointed out some positive aspects, such as that the botched coronavirus response will doom Trump's reelection efforts. Will all the deaths be worth it? Of course not, but we all knew Trump's horrid incompetence and evil stupidity were going to wind up killing people, so maybe it's just as well that it's going to be that obvious.
Other positive effects will be that the obstacles to universal health care will be swept away when people realize that the deaths of friends and loved ones were directly attributable to our lack of it. We also--MAYBE--might develop a deeper societal appreciation for the struggles of marginalized groups.

You forgot to mention all the mind-control devices that have been operating to hide the fact that Barack Obama is a space alien from the planet Dweemo. Or is it Frabulon? Alpha Proxima? Damn those mind-control devices anyway. They are, of course, all clandestinely secreted in Chinese restaurants.
